- After years of waiting... today Thorpe Park made history! The UK's tallest rollercoaster - Hyperia - was officially completed with the tallest point of the ride being craned into place. I show you everything that took place within the construction site on this momentous day from the rides designer John Burton signing the track to all of the buzz and excitement taking place down Monks Walk (with some familiar faces such as Dominic Gardner and Theme Park Worldwide!).

I've said this many times along this journey but thank you Jack for all the awesome up close coverage of Hyperia. I know we all remember the days when we didn't know for sure if this coaster was going to happen or not, so the fact it's here and the layout is complete makes it even more special. SOOO excited to see the rest of this series, the testing phase will be awesome, as well as media day and all that! Once again, thank you Jack and thank you Thorpe for allowing Jack to record this series on site!

Jack. I'm 42 and have had the pleasure of enjoying many UK roller coasters for a long time (Nemesis lover). This series has been fantastic. Your enthusiasm, excitement and passion shines through your vlogs. Keep up the amazing work you have put in.
Hopefully this old guy will get on Hyperia soon, knowing you signed the UK's tallest roller coaster and saw it's journey.
I drove past it on the M3 yesterday and it looks crazy. So many people that may not follow theme parks will see this from the motorway and will want to visit Thorpe this year.
Just did the same, you first notice it from going under the m25 (practically under the line of sight of the lift hill) on the M3 towards London, then you want to slow down as much as you can to marvel at it as you go past! 😂 Incredible!
Drove past Hyperia while looking for Monk’s Walk and the view of the coaster caught me off guard

Jack, you're the best mate, thanks for all the hard work. Your updates have been incredible, being in the Midlands, haven't bothered going to the site / Monks Walk once, but your updates have meant we've been able to follow it as if we were part of the construction crew! Remarkable considering how you told us about all the extra work that has to go into liasing with the park and getting every single detail signed off before upload.

It’s an amazing thing for you to have documented this entire journey for all of us. Usually parks are so secretive about new builds but for you to have made all of us feel so included in its construction is incredible!
Thank you Jack, for bringing us all this content on such a huge coaster. Being able to get up close is amazing! I may no longer be able to ride such amazing pieces of engineering, but I enjoy seeing how these things are built.

1:30 actually hit me in the feels. I have so many childhood memories there in the mid to late 2000s. The last years before I become fully aware of life and the burden of GCSEs and A levels hit. I loved that area of park with the Wild West / lumberjack theming going on and the train that would take you to the farm. Ahhh. So good.
What a day For Uk theme park history and Thorpe park my Local theme park is now the number 1 Theme park in the Uk , Well done Jack and Thank you for keeping us updated in this journey in couple years we will be looking back at this Masterpiece in construction

I was there on Wednesday watching with everyone else (around 50 in the end). IMO it looks taller from the car park than Monks Walk.
Can’t wait for the train delivery… was a hint back on pancake day of train Tuesday. Could we see the train arriving on site Tuesday
