Just a heads up, I checked the Kickstarter this morning and somehow the funding jumped up from $7.5K to $13.3K so we all might need to report this game sooner rather than later.
The game's entire TH-cam channel has been nuked because Streisand Effect and Gameforge has taken notice. I was going to complain that the devs have been deleting posts on the Steam forums, but seeing their entire channel gone I'm just sitting here smiling.

Honestly, it’s adorable how the dev (henceforth referred to as “Guy”) thought that TH-cam taking the video down meant that the claims made within were without merit. Like TH-cam actually took the time to investigate the claims made on his behalf before removing the video with the wrong takedown notice. “Guy” is a fool. TH-cam still sucks, feed the algorithm.

10-4 went to steam. Reported it as a legal violation with a link to this video to back it up. In the community tab I can see people already posting about this "game" being stolen from metin2 and boy oh boy is it looking bad for them. Now we just need kickstarter to actually do something about fake kickstarters and we'll be set. No point in reporting it to kickstarter because they don't care about the legal system in any way whatsoever.
Another game developer who has their terrible practices uncovered after trying to silence someone who didn't mention the behaviour. Maybe one day they'll learn & do better.

I immediately thought that Mr Circlejerk might have stolen a Hungarian mod because the written language looks similar enough to Turkish to pass off any in-game text he might not bother translating... but given the rest of this story, I think that would be giving him _way_ too much credit for logical reasoning. At this point, TH-cam's DMCA form should just include a tickbox that asks _"Do you understand what the 'Streisand Effect' is, and do you still wish to proceed?"_

Great work Sid. Only note I would make is about the audio. At the start of your narration it sounds a bit like you’re speaking through a plastic cup. This gets better as the video goes on, but occasionally falls back into that territory. I thought it may be quality fluctuations on my end due to downstream data going up and down, but even after downloading the video with YT Premium and trying again, the issue persists. Not a big problem by any means - it’s quite subtle - but I figured you’d like to know. A friend tells a friend when he’s got a fleck of mustard on his collar.

I feel like any time an MMO is being crowdfunded, that alone should be a red flag as to if not a scam, then just a bad crowdfunding effort. I genuinely do not think MMO‘s can be crowdfunded since not only do you have to develop an actual game, you then have to figure out the server infrastructure that will actually support it and that would probably cost at least the equivalent of whatever your crowdfunding goal is.
Hey SidAlpha. I looked into Laniatus LLC and it is a registered LLC in Colorado... however its under a really shady company that will create the LLC for you. ColoradoLLC's. However the official registered agent is Northwest Registered Agent LLC. I wonder if these companies that create LLC's for you are really that above board at all...

Sid, I actually remember Metin 2, though I don't think I played it, back in the day. It was one of the many "Free" MMO's I looked at, when I was looking for new games to play. It didn't look good enough for me to want to even download it, at the time.
i mean, sure they've been a perpetual alpha on 7dtd, and they are slow to update, but they do release them. They haven't scammed anyone that I know of, and the issues with the console version are not entirely their fault. So not sure what the problem is here.

Well, that "dev" is something... However improbable it is, I just have to note that torrents can be used in a legal way. For example a lot of Linux distributions are using it to spread load (bandwidth spikes) and lessen costs of distributing free open source software.

Even the Web Site for the Game is Not Working. So, to what lengths will this Developer go, to make money. As, was stated in the Video, The Store Page needs to be reported to Steam and removed. Creating a "Modded" Version of "Metin 2" which I did play Metin 2 and yes, Magic 2 Master is a Copy of Metin 2. Modded or not this Circlejerk is and possibly stole a Copy by using "UTorrent" and is trying to pass it off as a "Game that was Devloped by Him and 13 others!" This CircleJerk needs to learn how to take Criticism. Since, he is using DMCA to Silence people this tells me that he is hiding a dark truth of his possible "Illegal Activities!" These kinds of "game developers".... their kind shows up atleast once or twice a year... and the story ALLWAYS goes the same. They get called out, they try to abuse copyright systems to silence people... the Streisand effect kicks in and the whole thing blows up in their face.... and yet.. despite this going down the exact same way every time.... these wanna be scam artists keep popping up...

Even the Web Site for the Game is Not Working. So, to what lengths will this Developer go, to make money. As, was stated in the Video, The Store Page needs to be reported to Steam and removed. Creating a "Modded" Version of "Metin 2" which I did play Metin 2 and yes, Magic 2 Master is a Copy of Metin 2. Modded or not this Circlejerk is and possibly stole a Copy by using "UTorrent" and is trying to pass it off as a "Game that was Devloped by Him and 13 others!"
