- 'Crowds Welcome King and Queen Consort in Doncaster'
King Charles and Camilla, the Queen Consort received a warm welcome as they visited Doncaster to mark the conferral of city status.
The King wished the city "every possible success for the next 2,000 years" as he gave a short speech during a ceremony at the Mansion House.

I think she's quite beautiful, actually. She has a beautiful, dutiful and self-sacrificing spirit. Kind and warm. Your new king also seems kind and warm, from the videos. I'm not in UK, so that's all I have to go on, but that's what I see.

My former respite worker's parents, who happen to be only children, were born and raised in Doncaster. Hedley and Pat Duffield's daughter was excellent at addressing my needs!

Saw on tv someone threw eggs at The King and Charles ignored the eggs and carried on with dignity .... great respect. The egg thrower just showed what a good King Charles will prove to be.

Really, and what has he done to merit such praise? His, the monarch's first duty is to the Crown, the Firm, the institution, and most certainly not his so called subjects. A king that is the head of the State, without any power?
