That group hug at the end really made me teary-eyed. League of Legends always hinted at the fact that Warwick would never hurt kids because he has these fractured memories of little girls. There are lines in the game where he recognizes Jinx and Vi The way Arcane portrayed him, especially here, broke me. It makes me wanna cry and cheer at the same time.
You know… to think Vi shouts Vander’s name and it sucks him into a memory that ends as he says Violet’s name. What a way to begin and end a memory, symbolizing her reaching out and him recognizing her! She was the missing half of his memory along with Powder to bring his humanity back.
To Morgan: The two headed beast is called The Murk Wolf, it’s a League of Legends character that also appeared in Arcane season 2 episode one. Singed was traveling on some snowstorm mountains and he encountered that creature, which he used it for Vander now known as Warwick.
They are mobs you can fight in the game to gain money and XP and they are natives to the region of Freljord, a snowy and scandinavian-like part of the continent on the other side of Noxus in the far north
“Is there anything more undoing than a daughter?” The words spoken by Silco in season 1 continue to resonate through the entire series, Orianna (singes daughter) unmaking her father with her death, Jinx unmaking Silco, Vi and Jinx Unmaking Warwick and allowing Vander to peer through, Mel unmaking Ambessa, Caithlyn unmaking the Kieraman legacy with using the Grey. The writes cooked a 5 Star full course meal with this show and how it all ties together
Singed and Ambessa making an alliance is really important for League lore because in the game Singed makes the chemical weapons for Noxus in their wars, so this moment was a really important piece of the puzzle for League lore fans!
I love it when plot devices have more than one reason for being used. Vi’s black hair isn’t only for her character change or what happened with Caitlyn. It’s the reason Vander doesn’t recognize her until she calls his name and he hears her voice. ❤️
The fact Vander gave Violet her name! My heart!! ❤️ Although it makes what Silco planned to do with Vander and the kids even more evil. It’s shocking he was so wrapped up in his vision of Zaun that he was willing to kill Felicia’s children.
Just saw a detail pointed out that; during Vi's fights, when people are holding up the red cards to bet on Vi. The central one was being held by Jinx. It's her fingerless gloves and blue nails. So she was watching the fights and rooting for her sister.
Jayce killing Salo reminds me of season 1 where he faces off with Vi, saying he can't let her leave[with the gloves], except he didn't want to kill then.
Also the callback when Viktor says to Jace, "You seem different, something happened." ... "You too have touched the Arcane." Heimer said something very similar to Viktor after the first time Viktor had touched the Hex Core.
Seeing Silco without all (family) his trauma... just seeing him smile, was so heartbreaking for me. That guy snuck up on becoming my favourite character right after Viktor, it's not fair!
Okay people who cut the onions at 22:47 😭 it seriously gotten to be so much that it burns the eyes for them and us the community Also I like to do a mini detail feature that I notice during Salo/Viktor and Jayce moment. Once Salo/Viktor walking around the Hextech, if you look closely. You can see a “Mask” on Salo/Viktor’s face when the Hextech go by them.
Not that it's made other reactions unenjoyable, but I'm so happy you got the lyrics as they embraced. As if I wasn't drowning in enough tears, the haunting line of, "What have they done to us?" This moment they have been both been longing for, dreaming of, since it all went wrong. How'd we go to loving sisters with a father willing to protect them from anything, to a broken family enjoying a fleeting moment of what used to be. What have they done to us?
Fun Fact: In the scene between Jayce and Salo, you can obviously see Jayces breath since its so cold, but you never see it for Salo.... Glorious Evolution.
Here's something to watch for as you rewatch this episode. Notice how when Jace breathes, you see it from how cold the room is, yet Salvo doesn't. So I ask, if all of Victor's ppl are similar, are they even alive, or simply unaffected by warmth or cold? As Victor is as he left the goo, "Cold? No I don't think so."
LoL lore: Singed and Corvin Revick are originally separate characters. Revick's daughter is a playable Champion named Orianna, the Lady of Clockwork. What this will mean for the game or show going forward we'll wait and see.
18:26 Something worth the notice is how the letter's name signature is a V, which can be referring to both Vander and Vi. "When she died, I lost my head and told myself what I did to you was for the greater good" can also be referring to Vi and Jinx's relationship. Said by Vi herself, she believes Powder was killed by Jinx, and that led Vi into wanting Jinx's demise because she didn't want her to stain Powder's memories no more. The fact that they did Jinx read the letter and it made her realize how everything would be better if Silco had find it, it's a great parallel to the Alternate Universe we see on ep7, where he finds it, and how a conversation between her and her sister would make everything different. 24:42 A thing no one payed attention at this part is how Salo does not breath while talking. We can see Jayce's breath reacting with the cold atmosphere, while Salo's doesn't. Viktor is not actually healing people, he's replacing a body who once was miserable with a blank and empty soul, something deemed perfect, divine and non-sinful. That's why everyone "healed" by Viktor looks the same when personality is concerned.
On some level, it’s actually kinda nice to know Jinx was watching VI’s fights, and even betting on her to win Even after ALL OF THIS…they still care about each other
It might be a stretch, but Warwick could also be a representation of Vi’s rage. Since, she has to remember to stop fighting like Vander told her, (and trust her sister) in order to embrace him again. Edit: And even more so, along with her rage, Vi needs to choose to stop her self destructive coping habits in front of Warwick, to fight until she wins or is defeated, or to give into love again and embrace what’s in front of her.
weird how people seem so fixated on Silco taking Powder in like he wasnt gonna kill them all and tried to kill Vi multiple times afterwards and manipulated Jinx to hate Vi
Exactly! He even had a knife behind his back as he approached Powder, implying he was ready to kill her. He only softened up and adopted her when she vented on him and Silco realized she was "betrayed" just like him.
I'm pretty sure the part where the Black Rose person calls Mel 'sister' is just them mocking her because they were pretending to be her brother, I don't think it's much deeper than that
The oldest sibling and middle sibling fighting and then the younger sibling don’t mind they business and get hurt by joining in 🤣 that’s exactly what it gave
after these episodes, it makes me laugh with the words "foster daughters", they are literally their daughters. It touched me so much because my dad wasn't my blood relative, but he loved me with all his heart. There was no doubt that HE was my DAD. And I feel this connection between them💔💔
When you're 22 minutes in but don't remember the episode when you're focused on the little munchkin more than the episode am crying more for Morgan emotions are high for them (it's ok, Morgan)
The sad thing is that neither Vi or Cait are handling things well.....and instead of just doing what should have been done from the beginning (talk it out), they went to the worst places possible. Cait allowed herself to just use Maddie....which clearly isn't helping because you can tell all she thinks about is Vi Vi went back to old habits of "punching it out" and drinking her problems away to try and forget....which also...clearly isn't working. Please.....we want our Violyn back!!!!!
Hard to believe the voice actors for Jinx is the same person that played Lucy from the Fallout TV series. And she is British. Also she is very little, I met hear at Fan Expo and she is Itty bitty.
I really wonder if the writers of this show have daughters because they are taking the line "is there anything more undoing than a daughter?" a little too far. Every relationship that they have in relations to daughters, even with Vi almost having to be a mother to Jinx when she was a kid and Jinx's relationship with Isha are really hitting me with the sweet moments and the heartbreaking moments all at once.
Now we’re catching up with Vi and we have her team up with Jinx this time, Honestly, I was expecting that we would just deal with Warwick now and again and save going into his connection with Vander to Act 3 or something like that, I was not expecting Warwick to take over the Plot the way he did, this early.
i see... it's not only Arcane but also The Void is involved. those are Void patterns, they say Arcane but they this show can't fool me, Jayce survived the Void.. unlike Kassadin (-not a character in arcane-) who willingly Went "inside" the void to find his daughter, Kassadin can pretty much survive the void with no problems. (because of his Rift Walk?) Jayce is unaccustomed to the Void, Jayce got lucky. i hope RiOT games make another anime (like arcane), but starts either in Targon or iOnia. OR!!!! Freljord!!!
So… I heard a fun fan head cannon*(please no one get on my back for the fact it’s just a head cannon created for entertainment only, with no current evidence): that Vander, Silco, the girls’ mother, and the other guy mentioned were in a polycule… and Vander is Vi’s biological dad, while Silco is actually Jinx’s… and only the mom knew and decided to not tell them so they could focus on the revolution. Now for the real implications: the Vander/Silco split apparently happened shortly after the prologue in season one… and if they were that close with the girls’ mother, it means both men were probably known by the girls from the beginning. Watch Season one with that in mind… especially episode three… Powder’s immediate clinging to Silco makes so much sense.
@@everforward5561 I agree, though for the sake of having watched epsiode 6 and to avoid spoilers, pretty sure this theory is false from proof in the next epsiode. Vander was more or less just a father figure to them, not biological.

@NomNommies fine… I will amend it to head cannon. As it was just a fun thing fans made to add enjoyment and polyam rep, and was never addressed. My point in mentioning it was to just share something fun. The second point of my initial comment was the actual important part.

Also the black and red hair on Vi looks SO GOOD I actually wish she kept it

It's been a while since I saw your reactions to Arcane, and I have to say, you look astonishing with that haircut, and also amazing video❤
Aw thank you so much!
I believe Mel's brother is voiced by Hordak
No way! Really?
Yeah, I think @jadegecko 's right. He even SOUNDS like Hordak, too. But a bit softer and more British (or whatever that accent is, I dunno)
yeah he's voiced by the same guy that voices hordak and also darius (owl house)
Oh, yeah! Darius, too. Tbh, I kind of forgot about him 😅
You’re the first person I’ve seen who also cried at the hug scene. I was sobbing this episode 😭
I feel so sorry for Jinx. She lost a parent 5 times in her short live.
