Guys I can’t explain enough how grateful I am for you guys putting this videos out. It is just perfect information and this resort looks perfect for me and the wife as beginners €37 a day bargain
Is this still open please? When I looked for Le Martagon online it says that it is permanently closed, as does their facebook page. I really enjoy all of your videos, very informative.
Hi, thanks for alerting us to this, We've just checked their Facebook page and yes it's closed for good. We'll pull this video and provide a trimmed version for the car park by the lift.
There is aire in Val Thorens is still open every winter still - I'm booked to stay there for a week next March. There is no hookup available but if you need that there is a larger aire further down the valley in Les Menuires which has 60 spaces - and hookup available at some for a fee. However you can't book the Les Menuires aire.
@@keithgrint-v9x sorry I can't help with that question I'm afraid. However I imagine if you were to arrive early on a typical transfer day I suspect you'd have no problem regardless of how busy it is - someone is always going to be leaving on transfer days (Saturday most commonly).
Yes we drive from the UK, but it's a little tricky to give you exact figures as we move around a lot. If you go Calais to the section east of Lyon as an example is roughly €100 each way, this is "Classe 2" for vans, if you're not limited by time, then hit "avoid tolls" on your satnav and you'll enjoy a pleasant few days in each direction and save a few quid. Sanef is one of the toll operators, I'm sure there's a toll calculator on there, but bear in mind vans are roughly 30% more money than cars. Good luck with your travels!
