As a XRAY driver I can't agree that Awesomatix can beat an XRAY 😁. No just a joke. I haven't tried the new Awesomatix A800R, but I have tried the previous model MMX and that is driving very flat - but so does the XRAY X4. If we go back a couple of years when the XRAY T4 was the latest, there were no doubt that Awesomatix MMX was faster (if you could manage it) but with the new X4 they are more even. Which is best also depends on personal driving style. In this video both the Awesometix driver (Jesper Rasmussen) and XRAY driver (Patrick Danielsen) are very skilled and some of the best drivers in Denmark. We prefer XRAY as they are simpler to work with and probably more durable. Setting up and maintaining an Awesomatix is in my mind more difficult than XRAY. But for the competent driver/mechanic, there is no doubt the Awesomatix is a great car. So far in this season is lead by XRAY / Patrick Danielsen Last season was won by XRAY / Patrick Danielsen Season before that was won by Awesomatix/Jesper Rasmussen
@@mhrcracing Some years ago about half of the top drivers in Denmark used Awesomatix and did very well. Now most top drivers (except for modified class) uses XRAY X4 and dominates. In modified Yokomo BD12 dominates. Not many wins in Awesomatix these years. But all that could also come down to personal preferences. Some of the best drivers probably would win in almost any car. The interest in Mugen Seiki is also increasing
@@mhrcracingthere are not many racers in Denmark with the newest Awesomatix 800R but the MMX was widely used. Maybe the 800R would win if more used it. You can never know for sure
Was it me? or was that Awesomatrix running flatter in the corners? Very good design and matching and beating an Xray? I tip my hat to you

Pretty sure awesomatix has always beaten xray on carpet, but xray is trying to be competitive with recent years releases?

@@LyhneRC thanks, I didn't realize the X4 put them back on top. Good to know!

Virkelig flot kørt af både Patrick og jesper😊
Ja det var en god fight, der var ikke plads til selv en lille fejl
