If you don’t have a close relationship with Jesus, you won’t “rank it all that high”. But, if you know the Savior, if you’ve lived a life apart from Jesus, and have lived a life with Him, it will touch you immensely. I never want to go back to a life without Him! There’s a difference between praised and worshipped. You can praise Mary and Joseph for following God’s will and still only worship God. Praise is recognizing that they did the right thing and are holy because of it, while worship is adoring God for being all good, beautiful, true, powerful, etc. Praise is recognition, while worship is not just recognition: it’s submission to authority and a statement that God is above all else. Praise Mary and Joseph, like you’d praise your children for getting a good grade or your friend for getting a promotion, but only worship the Lord.

The first time I heard this song was when I was expanding my library of Christian tunes for Christmas, and 4Him is one of my favorite bands, so it got my attention. It constantly reminds me of those verses in 1st Corinthians chapter 1 where Paul writes how he won't let mankind glory in His presence because a perfect loving Father humbles Himself to get where we were in our broken state. I often have a hard time getting through this song,.....and I thank God for the talent He's given Mark Harris and Don Kock (pronounced cook) for their creative writing process.
One of my favorite Christmas songs... It's so meaningful and beautiful. It shows the love of God. Jesus could have come in many ways but God chose a humble beginning and a baby to bring him to the Earth. It also shows the value God places in human life.

The original sin was eating of the tree of good and evil but god could of just ended life there would be no use jesus came in the time of Roman rule when the congress and their Senate govern the people yet despite that he didn't interfere but aluminated the inherit right of choice he could have been born of a king and king he could of struck down his enemies instead when a Roman officer asked for him to save his daughter who was gravely ill he did so sight unseen because the soldiers believed he helped the blind to see he helped the lame to walk he showed miracles and didn't ridiculed or hated that which was different for those who were looked down upon he showed compassion for those who were lost he gave guidance he never took a life or retaliated against those who would do him harm he could have decided not to save the world he could of never come at all for those who do not believe he lived and still sacrificed himself.He rose Lazarus from the grave and brought him back to life he was whipped a crown of thorns placed upon his brow he could of never endured any of it never been betrayed by those closest to him but he did he could of cursed us all to choose a murder over him but with his dying breath he asked forgiveness not for the wrongs he did but for the wrongs we did we followed the mob to execute him we mocked his pain we left him on the cross a death sentence for crimes he did not commit but of simply saying we were not fit for redemption as the storm began he looked up and said forgive them for they no not what they do he showed compassion for those who persecuted him he sacrificed himself for others he saw others pain and didn't put them down we used to say what would jesus do. He chose us over himself he didn't destroy us that should have set an example for us to regain what we lost when we turn are backs on those in need.He gave back our humanity.

Another way, another time would not have fulfilled the words of the Prophets and mankind would have had even harder hearts that were unwilling to believe. I believe and I'm so blessed.
Because Christ came down and conquered death and the grave, we don't have to understand the why. We'll find out one day. We only need to believe it happened and the Great Gift given to us as a result of His suffering.
May we remain humble Lord, but may we be secure in knowing that we are one of your unique children, and that despite our imperfections, you count us as one of your own.

I do often wonder why we don't know very much of Joseph's side...I know he wasn't the father of Jesus but he was still there and I'm sure he loved him and cared for him. I know that God had to have chose him to have trust that he would do as he was told by the angels. I've just always wondered. I like this song because it shows something from his view.

Beloved, follow Me! Keep the Passover, honor the Holy Days, and remember the Sabbath. Only then will you begin to see, only then will you understand. For the Holy Days are revelation, every Sabbath a blessing, a sign between Me and you that you may know I am The Lord who sanctifies you.

My son's class sang this song and I'm sitting there crying as they sang it. The message of the song is absolutely beautiful!!!
The first time I heard this song was when I was expanding my library of Christian tunes for Christmas, and 4Him is one of my favorite bands, so it got my attention. It constantly reminds me of those verses in 1st Corinthians chapter 1 where Paul writes how he won't let mankind glory in His presence because a perfect loving Father humbles Himself to get where we were in our broken state.
I often have a hard time getting through this song,.....and I thank God for the talent He's given Mark Harris and Don Kock (pronounced cook) for their creative writing process.

One of my favorite Christmas songs... It's so meaningful and beautiful. It shows the love of God. Jesus could have come in many ways but God chose a humble beginning and a baby to bring him to the Earth. It also shows the value God places in human life.

The original sin was eating of the tree of good and evil but god could of just ended life there would be no use jesus came in the time of Roman rule when the congress and their Senate govern the people yet despite that he didn't interfere but aluminated the inherit right of choice he could have been born of a king and king he could of struck down his enemies instead when a Roman officer asked for him to save his daughter who was gravely ill he did so sight unseen because the soldiers believed he helped the blind to see he helped the lame to walk he showed miracles and didn't ridiculed or hated that which was different for those who were looked down upon he showed compassion for those who were lost he gave guidance he never took a life or retaliated against those who would do him harm he could have decided not to save the world he could of never come at all for those who do not believe he lived and still sacrificed himself.He rose Lazarus from the grave and brought him back to life he was whipped a crown of thorns placed upon his brow he could of never endured any of it never been betrayed by those closest to him but he did he could of cursed us all to choose a murder over him but with his dying breath he asked forgiveness not for the wrongs he did but for the wrongs we did we followed the mob to execute him we mocked his pain we left him on the cross a death sentence for crimes he did not commit but of simply saying we were not fit for redemption as the storm began he looked up and said forgive them for they no not what they do he showed compassion for those who persecuted him he sacrificed himself for others he saw others pain and didn't put them down we used to say what would jesus do. He chose us over himself he didn't destroy us that should have set an example for us to regain what we lost when we turn are backs on those in need.He gave back our humanity.

Another way, another time would not have fulfilled the words of the Prophets and mankind would have had even harder hearts that were unwilling to believe. I believe and I'm so blessed.
Because Christ came down and conquered death and the grave, we don't have to understand the why. We'll find out one day. We only need to believe it happened and the Great Gift given to us as a result of His suffering.

I do often wonder why we don't know very much of Joseph's side...I know he wasn't the father of Jesus but he was still there and I'm sure he loved him and cared for him. I know that God had to have chose him to have trust that he would do as he was told by the angels. I've just always wondered. I like this song because it shows something from his view.
