Congratulations to Steve Clarke and his team.
Tbh I had no confidence in our national team, for a long time, and when he came in, same again, but honestly what an improvement over the years.
Plus he has built a good attacking team that can now score, just need to shore up that defence, but said it before, to keep going and trying until the end, and that mentality has been crucial.
Well done Steve Clarke, for improving with every game, and changing my mind.

Shankland isn't the answer. He doesn't work hard enough. That's why Dykes is preferred, he works his arse off.
Amazing ! Even when we’re not at our best we can score goals (plural). That’s a huge change from almost every previous Scotland squad. Next step is taking this good form into a tournament. Hopefully we can do it next year 🤞

This was definitely not our strongest side,gave a few players a start that wouldn't normally get a game think he should have given shankland a start but to score 3 goals against Norway was great can't wait for next year
We did well with a few top players out.lf we can get the injured starters back and close things down a bit l think we will do ok.
I think Shankland needs to be in there.

Norway without their big names and already out could play free against us and had something to prove and credit due that is a good team they have and are going to be tough opponents for anyone in a few years but thankfully they came up against an equally as good team who matched them on the night.
He's doing a terrific job

He's done a brilliant job Clarke and deserves all the plaudits but you can't compare him to any previous Scotland managers in the sense that previous managers didn't have the nation's league as a path away to qualification and in previous years second place would only get you a play off not automatic qualification, I think in 04 when we reached a play off finishing second he pipped Norway that campaign to but got hammered in the play off v Holland away, anyway great times to be a Scotland fan long may it continue I guess the next major goal is qualifying for the world cup now

I'll take this over 1) not qualifying, 2) being reliant on how other teams in the group do, or 3) resigning ourselves to scraping by in the group and trying for a playoff spot.
Stuart Armstrong was immense in that game. Very experienced. He'll play a one two and not sprint for the ball back, slow down and get behind his marker then wait for an easy pass. I hope neither him or jesus christie are injured in the summer. Hope Tierney and Robbo are fechtin fit.

McGinn is our best player and main danger and Celtic well should have paid out that extra 1m for him a few seasons ago
but the norm tight board would not budge just as they would not for Brondby striker and so lost out and rightly so via shear Greed ..McGinn is better than any middle men at Celtic or Rangers still today ...Scotland .Defence none at the back post
with the Norway headed 3rd goal tells me defence and goalkeeper here were poor and certainly needs made stronger with more so a captain at the back who would sort them mistakes out and players have to be made aware of back post with cross balls as well as inside near post with cross balls ..But good they qualified and well done to Stevie Clarke.
If John McGinn went to Celtic he wouldn't be this good. He's playing against top opposition week in week out. It benefits us having more players playing outside out dogs dogshit league
McGinn is playing really well but he may not have developed as much playing in Scotland. He has forced his way into a very good side at Villa and a very experienced manager is getting the best out of him. Scotland are getting the benefit 🙏

Respectfully, I disagree. Shankland can’t play the way Clarke wants, doesn’t have the mobility. Brown also plays in the EPL, a higher level than Dykes or Shankland. Saying that, I don’t think Brown did enough to win a place in the team.
I agree in regards Taylor and Clark. Taylor won't be near the squad come next summer if all players are fit. Clark should be nowhere near a Scotland squad again, he's been absolutely honking in his 2 and half games and been responsible for at least 3 goals.
Shankland does not work hard, that's why Dykes is preferred. Brown did alright last night. He didn't get any service so we can't judge him on this one game. Yes, he missed a great chance, but he was there to miss it. Top Strikers miss those chances too. I'd give Brown another chance in one or two of the upcoming warm up games next year, he deserves a crack.
It also has to be remembered, he's playing at a far higher level than Shankland, who is far from prolific. he's had one decent season in the top flight, but he did nothing in Belgium, scored a number in the Championship for Dundee Utd. A good number of his goals are penalties too.
Absolutely mental to suggest respect or disrespect comes in to national team selection. Steve Clark wants him best team possible, bringing in a guy playing top flight in England is a no brainer
He plays for Luton in the Premiership you clown , Steve knows more about football management than the likes of you EVER will .
