If you perform in an interview very well, if you impress the interview board/employer, you can be a teacher. It's nothing other than your personality and performance, That's how Dinithi got her job😊
I live in the UK for over 25yrs. In the UK or most developed countries, a qualified teacher is very different to a key person, a TA - AKA teaching assistant, midday assistant etc. To understand better, imagine a school teacher and a Montessori teacher or Montessori assistant in Sri Lanka. Dhanya (I hope I spelt your name right) is a qualified teacher who teaches specialist subjects in AL’s. Angie also teaches in a Catholic private school by the looks of it. The actress/air hostess you are referring to seems to be teaching in a kindergarten/nursery environment. Therefore, it’s not the same nor is the pay. I know people who have started as TA’s and later decided to do the teaching degree. I hope this explains 😊
That actress is pretending to be a teacher I guess. She should be either a volunteer or doing her work-placement in that kindergarten. Even to be a kindergarten teacher in Australia, you should have a ECT degree. I know it because I am working in Early childhood sector in Australia. She is trying to show an imaginary fantasy world to Sri Lankan people. Shame on her for misleading Sri Lankan people like this.
