Jesus said his return will be like in the days of Noah when people were going about life as if nothing was going to change (Luke 17). Lighting disappears quickly and does not stay on earth. He also said his return happens after the heavens and earth are shaken and people are greatly afraid (Luke 21:26). How can these two scenarios be one event? There must be a time gap. In the time gap there are large asteroids that hit the earth, global famines and earthquakes, 1/2 of mankind dies and there is a world leader chopping of heads of anyone that will not accept his economic plan. Where Lord? Believers leave their physical bodies behind. We are all appointed to die once. We do not disappear. Saved by grace! Thank you Lord! Maranatha!
