Kurt, you are perfect. So confident you are, so strong communication skills you possess, so informative, amusing and interesting your videos are! About the head nod in Bulgaria as a native bulgarian I will try to explain it. Here, in Bulgaria, actually, the truth is that there is no differnce in the meaning of the head nod direction. Just remember, here the left-to-right or up-to-down head nod may mean both confirmation and denial, depending on the facial expression and conversation context. Never mind head nod direction here because it has both "yes" and "no" meaning, it depends on content and mimic expression only, said in other words. So, in conclusion, the head nod direction in Bulgaria is not reverse, though very bulgarians mistakenly are trying to explain it like that. It is just both meanings without the direction headnod matters. It only matters the facial expression and conversation context while we bulgarians make this vertical or horizontal nod of our heads. This gesture meaning explanation sometimes is even difficult to describe even from many of the natives here.

Bro tourists get scammed worldwide, not only in Bulgaria.
He laying cuz he is not bulgarian
No need to generalize like that. Most people in this video were helpful, why don't you focus on them , but rather on that old men who actually didn't force him to do anything. If you haven't learnt that already Kurt is having such kind of situations on purpose just to make it more interesting for the viewers ;)
Once again quality stuff from Kurt “check it out” Caz
I love your videos and your sarcasm 🤣🤣
DBC.. Daily Blessings Coming! Thank You….
Why are all your videos named “Don’t stay in this hotel or Don’t get in this bus and stuff like that...
Clickbaiting
Compared to other countries youve visited, not too many people seem to smile in Bulgaria
Communism effect
That’s totally true . People don’t smile because they’re depressed , angry or just sad because they or their parents have been trough a lot . Also it’s ingrained in the culture at this point. Some young people do try to smile more and be more positive. 🥲
I've heard the road between Varna and Burgas are bad, with lots of bad turns, so i never travew between those 2. Btw, there is an app Booking, and you can find a hotel fast with it, you can use it on your phone as well. And one more thing, feel free to ask people if they speak german! Some people do speak it more than enlish or russian :P
bulgarians are not européans or white. You are middle east arab turkish. You live in a third world country. I would rather be african than bulgarian. Even africa have better country than bulgaria. You are depressed eastern europe
Hell yeah brother!
This is gold !! throughout the video I can recognize similarities between Greek-Bulgarian calture. People's behaviour , traits . Also political and social envioroment .
love ur vids man
Haha it is very bad for tourists in Bulgaria. We just have this mentality as a nation that we should fuck up everyone else, even our own people. If you come with someone Bulgarian to guide you it will be much easier for you and you will experience mostly positive emotions. The other option is to always be careful not to get ripped off, since this is how Bulgarians live, but it takes some training :D.
Please don't spread lies. Maybe if you're a crook and love to rip people off, that doesn't count for everybody else. Maybe it's just you that is a crook.

8:37 funniest part 😂
My Bulgarian bus driver was drunk. The other passengers made him stop. They sent another driver out to replace him.
The lady didnt tell you it closed he say to call to the hotel and someone will get down😂
I love kurt he's just a real guy
Glad you finally found a hotel. Kurt tactfully escaped from that dude's garage...what the hell was that place? I guess when you fly by the seat of your pants, sometimes accommodations are a trick to find.
"Where is the room with a sea view?" Sketchy guy opens door and shows toilet.
The bus driver was not guilty the man with the SUV just cut the left turn
You have great content in all of your videos. Dubro 😊👍
Hotel dude looks like a kidnapper.. Kurt got taken 😂
In Bulgaria low price 57lv is 30€ in Deutsche 60€ ;)
How many languages do you speak wow really impressive 👌
If you travel lot you can understand some languages and words you could learn before visit
@@nstsarr5189 yes true
“Starting from the bottom now we way up” 🤣 🚐💨 only a few would get😂
Me: I am planning to visit Bulgaria, any tips overall?
Kurt: Well, avoid this bus driver.
9:53 - It's the old farmer from Austin Powers 😆
@kurtCaz how do you choose the places that you will go? best channel ever by the way amigo
The No/Yes switch is interesting and kind of reminds me of India, while there it is more kind of round circle in different spins in a way to indicate No or Yes - or maybe...
