I almost missed this video, clicked on it just in case. The title promised a boring video about making power banks, but in fact it turned out to be a very interesting video about making lithium-ion batteries.
America used to make them but decided to contract them out to china for some reason. The contrast between this factory and Americas manufacturing decline is not lost on the unemployed American factory workers 😢
I used to be a machine operator, and then I became a higher paid, higher skilled manufacturing technician, but I will always think the machine operators in factories should get higher pay than the skilled workers because the constantly repetitive work of a machine operator is so mind-numbingly boring. I don't even think they should ever have to work for more than 20 hours a week to earn a decent living wage, the jobs are so soul-destroying awful.
Interesting part is majority of their machine labels and even operating guidelines are also translated in English. I wonder why, is there a regulation/certificate on this?
LFP is also Li-ion. Your current power bank is using NMC which is again a type of Li-ion. LFP ones can charge faster and last longer but it'll be heavier given the same energy storage capacity
@@udance4ever The thermal sensor should be in direct contact with the metal body of the battery. Kapton tape is a poor thermal conductor. In fact, kapton tape is being used as a thermal insulator.
I've got a Chinesium 27000 mah powerbank, after it only charged my 6500 mah (Chinese made ) phone twice, I disassembled it. I had 2 x 5000 mah lithium cells of dubious origin as they had been double sealed. So they are not to be trusted. Sent it back to amazon as a crapp item.
Зачем нужны технологии робототехника и доступность любого товара от зубочисток до меж. Космических шаттлов так для чего всё это!?!? Please, no need to add the music background. The sound of the machinery itself is already great.
Fantastic video, so clean. I made photographic film at 3M in the 1990s, similar coating equipment.

Damn. this is definitely not a alley way shop here. this is full production facility.
Very cool. Thanks for sharing.
These are NMC cells. Mostly used in consumer electronics and require rare metals like Cobalt, Nickel
absolutely fascinating to watch - now that ive seen all the steps, its obvious to me why some batteries perform better than others!
You should put a description on each step and name of every material use in this process
Name of the shiny rolled sheet, black polymer, ect
Very interesting video thank you
Wow surprised to see Mao Zedong running practically half the factory! Guess that trademark hat of his really helps him step up his game.
The way you explained the process is so easy to understand, anyone can follow without feeling lost!
🥰🥰
This is very high quality production of Battery Bank, what are those brands they made for? I want to buy
Anker, Xiaomi, etc. Basically you need to pay slightly more on reputable brands than those unnamed brands to get higher quality battery banks.
one of the cleanest places ever 💙👍🤘🙌👋says aluminum foil but where's the copper jw if it worked with an iPhone id buy it 😎😎
What brand is this, seems good quality

Wish I knew what I'm looking at!!
Magic 😊❤
they should have nitrogen tank in case of fire
whats the bit of the battery that gets cut off at 16:05?
The best batteries but the charge module for god sakes needs improvement..always very troublesome sometimes batteries becomes pregnant 😂
i wanna know which electrolyte solution is and they add separate in small selection bake 50 c and absorb in the battery
Batteries only 10000mah 2batt of 5000mah but indicated 20000mah
exactly what i was thinking , what?
That's another kind/type of 10000 mAh, no offence 🙂
@@superdare no offence , the pcb doubles the mAh ? ( i think its just a cheap power bank that offers half the cappacity )
The laser tagged one is a different model. The 10000mah label is painted before the laser tagged one where you can read 10000mah.
lets noth make a big deal about it , its just confusing !

出口的话,有人审厂
Wah Chaina ❤❤
Achei interessante que na fase final de produção tudo é manual, nada de automatização, são serviços que dariam para ser automatizados.
I have a power bank. And the battery is damaged after 1 year .I prefer them to switch to LFP than li-ion . Because it can last longer

China is the number ome to product the Li-ion Batteries
22:00 - If you need your thermal sensor to protect you from an overheating battery, then don't put it on a surface covered by kapton tape...
why not?
@@udance4ever The thermal sensor should be in direct contact with the metal body of the battery.
Kapton tape is a poor thermal conductor. In fact, kapton tape is being used as a thermal insulator.
What they don't show you is all the pollution this creates along with the chemicals used ..
Yes stop using that silly background music
At least these are not disposable vapes...

exploding powerbank?
20000 mah on the black back and inside clear 5000 mah :)) what a joke
2x6000mah does not equal 20000mah .... scammers
This is capacitor battery. I prefer li-ion.
Lol 😂😂😂 these are lithium polymer battery
