I'm just so excited to see MCU will use Daredevil as an important character for their plan moving forward, because every project he's in is automatically better with his presence.
They approached the first Daredevil as being a crime-drama first and foremost do, it’d be cool if they approached it as a procedural drama with an increase of Matt Murdock.

@@ytbubble I don’t know what that has to do with my comment as I was just relating to what Charlie said in the interview, but yes they were made by a different team from Marvel Studios. The Netflix Marvel shows were still funded by Disney, but they were made by Marvel Television, a separate division from Marvel Studios. The shows were initially conceived to be set in the same continuity as the MCU, but on the ‘outskirts’ according to Feige in 2014.

I hope the same thing: they're able to spend more time as Matt the lawyer but I want the same dark tone and excellent writing.
The Punisher deserves a pickup as well. Jon Bernthal is one of the best actors working right now full stop, and he was lights out as Frank Castle.
Although I admit it is ill-fitting with Disney's more wholesome image. Our loss.
I still believe the MCU version is similar yet different from the Netflix one; a true example of the full Swing of the Multiverse.
The original show was confirmed to be MCU...
No matter how different the show itself may end up being (which we don't know that it will, significantly), there's no reason to throw away continuity. The Marvel Television live-action shows (except for the X-Men spinoffs and maybe Helstrom, not sure about that one) were built to be an extension of the MCU, and Kevin Feige himself acknowledged them as the outskirts of the same continuity, and there's nothing those shows did that does such damage to future possibilities that any of it needs to be thought of as a different timeline, except for the chunk of Agents of SHIELD that's canonically established within the show itself as being different timelines (that being between somewhere around the beginning of season 5 and the series finale). Daredevil is entirely as canon as it needs to be. Anything that's different in the new show can be explained by the passage of time since the events of the old show, and the blip. To confuse things by erasing the character's history would be a silly and pointless decision. The show holds up and fits into the timeline as well as it needs to, so why would they, when they can simply reintroduce the character and continue with the history intact (and only address it to the extent that it's relevant to the story)?
The only reason I can imagine for invoking the multiverse is if they specifically need it to be a key plot point for the Multiverse Saga storyline to unfold. Otherwise, it's completely unnecessary.

@@kvin9210 yeah, i know that, but it doesn't have to mean anything because it can still be uncanon, because the same thing surely happened somewhere in another universe but in a slightly different way, I think if Marvel decides that it won't be canon then it will be like that but I hope it is canon

Netflix was actually did amazing job on the Defender cast, perhaps only Iron Fist was the miss fits, but since it's 18 episodes in a freakin Disney+, only Feige would already know how many cameos we will see.
Iron Fist was so bad on many levels. The best part of that show was everyone except for the writers, directors, and the horrific casting of Finn Jones as Danny Rand.

I know this is probably not possible, but it would be such a cool twist if this MCU Daredevil show they're making is even better than the OG netflix show. I know it won't, but it's just an interesting thought
Charlie thinks Disney gonna give him more duration but what he literally dont know unlike Netflix's 50 min long episode disney + series episodes are only 25 min long ..
35-50 mins. She hulk episodes are only 30 mins but Loki episodes were 50 mins so it may vary. Either way 18 35 min episodes still had more minutes than 9 50 min episodes
@@ktkballer6640 Netflix was 13 episodes per season of full 50 Min.. some are almost 55 min .. whereas. disney mostly are 23-25 min content with 5-7 min intro outro + credit songs..
