I don't think he understands how much we love him. The show ended years ago and we still wanted him to be an official part of the MCU. He's such a nice guy, he deserves the world.
He just gives the credit where it's due. If the show itself wasn't as good as it was, thanks to the writers, directors, his co-stars, stunt-work, etc, people wouldn't cheer on him. No matter how well you do your job, you'll be blamed by the audience if the product itself isn't good in the end. Just look at Finn Jones that nobody cares about, although he did his best with his portrayal of the Immortal Iron Fist (if his acting in S2 is any indication).

From 39 episodes in 3 seasons and a 8 episodes in a miniseries to radio silence for almost 5 years to now have cameoed in a Spider-man movie and appearing in She-Hulk, Echo, voice him in a Spidey cartoon and then get his own show again with 18 episodes. I love it and I'm so proud for Charlie

The Netflix show constantly hinted at the existence of Thor, Iron Man, the events that happened in other Marvel movies. I always saw the Netflix shows as their own corner of the universe. Even had their own team up series with The Defenders. Be a shame to just disregard all of that history. However, that being said, I'm still super pumped for this show, so glad Charlie and Vince are back. Very curious to see what direction they take it this time.
The Netflix shows and Agents of Shield is basically connected like a one-way mirror. The movie stuff happened in their shows but the other way around doesn't.
The TV shows back then were supposed to be connected, until Feige had a falling out with Ike Perlmutter. Then Feige did his own thing and ignored the shows.

I love how excited Charlie is about his recurring role as DD. Holding my breath things work out well. I'm so happy things went well between him and Tatiana. She's my favourite Canadian actress. She was incredible in Orphan Black. Looking forward to their combined episode in She Hulk.
I want MCU to use Daredevil like the anchor for their new street hero category of Marvel movies, and I hope we'll see Marvel make it into their own little pocket universe where they battle street level villains. Oh, and please let Daredevil join the Avengers! Like Capt. America he has the innate leadership ability and other Avengers will listen to him.
The only problem with Daredevil is that he is no rival for bigger enemies, maybe he would need a technological upgrade if they decide to put it into an avengers event

He's also in the middle of filming the next 2 seasons of Kin. He plays such a different character in this series he makes you forget that he is DD. That is what good actors do.
So happy for Charlie Cox. He's such a great actor. Kevin Feige said Daredevil is going to be a key ground level character. So I think he will be around for a while. I really hope we get a live action Midnight Son's at some point. I believe a couple of Daredevil writes are coming back for the new show. Some also worked on Echo. So I think people need to stop worrying and appreciate that he's back.
It makes me a little sad that daredevil doesn't get as much love as he should, he portrays Matt Murdock to a tee. And he's be far my favorite superhero.

Charlie Cox Born Again!
So happy for Charlie Cox. He's such a great actor. Kevin Feige said Daredevil is going to be a key ground level character. So I think he will be around for a while. I really hope we get a live action Midnight Son's at some point. I believe a couple of Daredevil writes are coming back for the new show. Some also worked on Echo. So I think people need to stop worrying and appreciate that he's back.
God I wish this man to succeed so much.... Goodness.
This makes me so happy. His show was amazing and I’m beyond pumped to see him officially in the MCU!!!
It makes me a little sad that daredevil doesn't get as much love as he should, he portrays Matt Murdock to a tee. And he's be far my favorite superhero.

Great to see you are coming back Charlie! Seems like a really nice guy and a perfect fit for Matt Murdock. Really enjoyed the Netflix series so will be cool to see how the character is reimagined within the MCU.

@@kiwiangeldust6912 All signs are pointing to the Netflix series not being canon (at least not in the main MCU universe). If this truly is a "new beginning" that means that they're likely erasing everything that happened in the show and starting fresh.

Starting watching Netflix Daredevil because of his re-introduction into the MCU. Absolutely fucking amazing, and decent eye-bleach after She-Hulk. This guy is simply awesome as Matt Murdock.
He's a great Daredevil he plays the role so well, he's smart and dares a lot. Looking forward to the next Daredevil story movie.

You can tell how good an actor is by how COMPLETELY DIFFERENT he is from the character he plays.
You should see him in his latest series KIN. He totally makes you forget he ever played DD. That is what great actors do.

It’s crazy how the fans have basically kept him as daredevil and made sure Marvel bring him back, that guy must feel on cloud nine knowing how much he his loved by the fans
Just finished binging the netflix series. And it is a shock to hear him speak lol. And have his eye make eye contact. 😂😂
It is so strange to hear Charlie out of character. His accent and cadence for Matt is so different and so natural, it is wild that he changes his speech so much for the role
He also does a fantastic Irish accent. The man is marvelous!!

Even though I literally finished Daredevil about a month ago, I absolutely love Charlie Cox and to see him coming into the MCU makes me happy (hoping Marvel doesn’t ruin him) and I’m excited for the She-Hulk episode that he his in

It always throws me when he meets people's eyes, which says a lot about his acting ability in DD!
It's a new beginning but also a continuation. All the Netflix series are canon. I m so happy for DD. I cannot wait to see all characters comeback💖💖💖💖💖💖.
"Born Again" is one of the most critically acclaimed stories from the Daredevil comic book. It was published in 1986.
But at the end of the day it's just a title, like Age of Ultron. There could be some inspiration drawn but I doubt it goes any further than that.
