"You'll have to use bane mods" no I won't, I refuse to use them. I rather put a galvanized mod in it's place and lose damage than have to keep swapping banes around.
For both Gauss' signature weapons, worth noting that you can get a ton of utility off Carrier Prime opening nearby crates and mutating the ammo (which can free up the Exilus for Vigilante for crit enhancement and whatever you will on the Akarius, think I have projectile speed)
I run Carrier with Gauss too and agree with the guy above me wholeheartedly. Also with sentinel you don't even have to throw vigilante mods on your primary, it's enough for them to work when you drop them on your sentinel's weapon
the status boost of prime version is really underrated. double status chance means more corrosive and heat procs, equal more armor strip in all of its own. the normal variant can only function in HM build because its status chance is so low you can't even consider direct dmg build
Watching this video gave me the reason behind the corro-heat-rad combo. I finally understand...and it's too late, it's a couple months post-Jade Shadows lmao
Hey MC! This might be a long shot, but I think you should make a video about the guns/melees/frames/stuff that are the most fun to you. Not anything complicated like detailing the builds or whatever. Just a list of what makes you feel the happiest while playing. I, like many people here, love to watch your content because you show us the fun stuff I never thought to try, it gives me a reason to farm/play and turns out you're right every time, I end up having a lot of fun. The WF community tends to get stuck on *the most efficient* shiny things and that burns people out so quickly. Your content has ALWAYS been a breath of fresh air and I thank you for that, I hope to support you when I can.
I will put one suggestion for that category here: Akstiletto Prime + Akimbo Slip Shot + Zazvat-Kar mod for 100% ammo efficiency and pump as much fire rate as you can. Zephyr just be floating around, chilling, making it rain XD
I think it's better to just give a general tip on modding rather than making videos for specific primaries. A lot of people, even those with thousands of hours on the game, focus too much on specific meta weapons rather than trying to know _why_ those weapons are meta so they can apply similar principles on weapons with similar characteristics. Beam and Chaining Beam weapons for example benefit takes advantage of statuses to tremendous heights due to their calculation, and Galvanized Aptitude *multiplies* base damage rather than just adding to it like a damage mod. Other stuff also includes how you don't have to always rely on the Steel Path Deadhead/Merciless/Dexterity arcanes and some weapons can use Primary Frostbite and Longbow Sharpshot effectively, so long as you have a base damage mod (Serration, etc) for them to scale off of. My favourite case of this would probably be a Gas-modded Nataruk since its projectile is multiplicative to base damage mods which is then further multiplied by Longbow Sharpshot, another would be Soma Prime Incarnon with Hata-Satya and Primary Frostbite modded for Corrosive and Cold, where the bonus multishot from Frostbite further helps Hata-Satya reach its maximum Crit stacks sooner (Incarnon Form immediately maxes it in a microsecond of firing).
been slowly grinding all the gauss prime stuff, been slower than i’d like because of more work that usual, but i’m looking forwards to finally having everything together!!!
4:45 honestly the only situation in wich i would face such a thing is in a lucky circuit run,in wich case i would have so many buffs that it would not matter at all, like yeah sure a lv 6542 grinner bombard is gonna be hard but at that point you hve so many buffs it still dies in a second
Just gotta say....I love qorvex....been running a nourish build with energy nexus and the xata invocation on grimoire, so much fun to just blast things and tank
Personally I like to use galvanized aptitude on the flex slot even if the weapon is aoe exactly because is important to hit direct damage, plus it easy to stack 3 status with it
Until this video, I hadn't really given the Acceltra or Acarius much thought, as I generally like weapons that have better ammo economy than those weapons do. After hearing about the latter build here though, I think I'll pick this up and give it a try. I do much prefer to see Direct Damage more than DoT most of the time, so this build looks like just what I was needing! :)
I’m still scratching my head how is this weapon supposed to work with gauss if all the ammo is gone in seconds, accelerates is better for zephyr and nidus since they can pull enemies you can make use less ammo for better performance
I've never had ammo issues with it on SP up until assassination missions and i only run vigilante supplies for ammo economy, the thing is that unlike base acceltra acceltra prime hits hard enough to the point where you can obliterate an entire room of SP enemies and have the rest die to slash DOT with less ammo than the actual pickup gives you
Was more excited for the gun rather than prime frame for the first time ever i believe Accetra is great when combined with on-call crew, its my way to deal with acolytes and tough enemies when i happen to not be up for the task with my setup
Went with a hunter viral setup with increased max ammo. Plus arcane primary mericless on weapon and the one arcane called rise (60% for 150% damage after a reload for 24s) If both are at full. I think its nearly +500% damage
This thing its a monster, glad i bought for 50p because a nutjob was selling it that way 1 week of gauss being released (the average price at the time was 190)
Is it worth running internal bleeding on this weapon at all? Forced impact procs + big crit stats make me think so, and I was expecting it to show up in the "honourable mentions" segment of the video.
Did a quick couple checks on the wiki. Using the builds provided in this video as a reference, if you want to use Internal Bleeding over HUMU you'd need to use another forma as IB has 15 capacity drain over HUMU's 9, for only a *five percent* larger chance of causing bleeds on impact procs instead of on critical hits. You can kind of double up on bleed chances with HUMU and IB, as they are partly exlcusionary (i.e. if both are drawn at the same time, only one slash is applied at a 55% chance or 79% if attack speed is below 2.5, so sayeth the Wiki). You could replace a Bane mod w/ IB, but then you're losing faction damage multipliers which will also cut into bleed damage. If you don't have HUMU, or you have a weapon with high impact and low crit chance then it'd be more useful, but I don't recommend it here. Acceltra's high crit is already more than enough with HUMU and costs less to slot. But if you're still into the idea then give it a whirl.
Yes, but Hunter Munitions is easier to use. When firing down a hallway, you'll mostly likely hit enemies multiple times with overlapping Critical AOE's as opposed to just saying, "F*ck you!" to one enemy in particular. Or run both lol
I have a question,if I have all the parts for the prime but am below mastery level can I craft it? Also if I can craft it under mastery level can I not use it until I'm that mastery level?
@lookalike4805 same, frostbite with your hound as a cold primer is amazing, even better if you have galvanized aptitude+scope and go for headshots to get 6 digits orange/red crits
Gauss prime is so powerful my PSU gave up 🔥🔋💪
Your GPU after you replace your PSU:
*_but we are NOT done_*
I was not expecting the argon cave, nontheless respect must be given.
Argon cave has been around for a while, he built it on stream. That was a fun day.
@@SamanthaLaurierHe still streams? Where? When? I'd love to watch
@@gprtech He streamed earlier today, you missed it
@@SamanthaLaurier Aw man :c why no vod?
@@gprtech Dunno, not my channel. Can't say.

Also, primary frostbite with corrosive and cold paints the simulacrum red. The extra crit damage and multishot is amazing.

the thing that bothers me about acceltra is the magazine size, it should'nt have been affected by the ammo nerf :(

I put vile acceleration on it. Mixed with a Energized munitions build it goes BONKERS.

The forced impact proc on direct hits might make Internal Bleeding a play, even though it fires too fast for the full bonus.

Yes sir and it it has multiplicative multiplier on aptitude hence with priming you can take down level cap demo unit.

no esspesiccly cus the prime can reach 100% crit from crit delay this takes out the normal acceltra having 2 rolls on getting a bleed from HM
Did a quick couple checks on the wiki. You cannot craft a weapon that is above your mastery sadly
does any one know what shoulder piece is on his Qorvex? it looks neat

I'd run Frostbite and just Slip *Serration* back in there. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Why not primed firestorm it literally shoots missiles
Acceltra prime has a bigger radius than normal acceltra, primed firestorm is not worth running over more damage
Put primed firestorm on it…..you’re welcome
I did full crit build its quite good
Is that argon?? xd
Really expecting this one.
Does anyone need a riven for it
No Ammo Prime. 😎
