Seru Giran went from 1978 to 1982 and had a brief comeback in 1992.
Noche de Perros is from 1979 La Grasa de.las Capitales album.
That tuba was actually Aznar's fretless bass, on the style of Jaco Pastorius, who some years before had played with Pat Metheny. Later on, in 1985, Serú Girán played in Rock in Rio, Brazilian rock festival, where Path Metheny Group also featured. Metheny heard Aznar and asked him to play in his group. Back then Aznar wanted to further study music in Berkeley, and Metheny gave him the opportunity to do it while performing with the band, which leaded to Segú Girán dissolution.

El bajo de Pedro es practicamente el que saca con el fretless con Di Marzio grabado en ION, son sus dedos que lo hacen sonar asi de increible
@@MrGregga1114 Totalmente de acuerdo, es más ecualización que efectos... Jaco no utilizaba practicamente efectos salvo algo de "gain" en el ampli.
@@patricioeb Jaco si usaba efectos, pero los que venían incluídos en el amplificador acoustic (delay y fuzz), aún así su sonido característico proviene de su ecualización en el amplificador dónde potencia los medios y dejar solo la pastilla del puente, más la técnica de grabación donde grababa la misma línea dos veces y se superponían

As almost everyone just wrote those lines with a tuba-like sound comes from the typical fretless bass with a lot of jammed chorus fx (Pedro Aznar) probably sound to you a little bit like the Weather Report's virtuoso bass player Jaco Pastorius (whom Pedro always admired from a very young age)

My friend, no es tuba ni teclado, es bajo sin trastes, Pedro Aznar un virtuoso, solo tenía 17 años, además también canta (más adelante tocó conPath Metheny como percusionista) el guitarrista es David Lebón, multiinstrumentista, y primera voz en este tema, ellos andaban por los 27 años, el batero Moro excelente, una bando excepcional!!

Hola Robk! Serú Giran a mi parecer fue la mejor banda de Rock en Argentina. Era Rock Progresivo. Integrado por cuatro genios: Charly García piano, teclados y voz. David Lebon guitarra y voz. Pedro Aznar bajo y coros. Y Oscar Moro en batería (el mejor baterista de Argentina)

Pedro Aznar tenía solo 20 años cuando se edito este disco. Y ya tenía una trayectoria muy prometedora. Luego integraría la banda de Path Matheny Group a partir de que éste lo escuchara en un demo. Sin dudas un prodigio. Respecto a la banda, si queres conocer mas, te comento que en epocas de censura por la dictadura militar, inventaron un idioma (Asi como el nombre de la banda). Deberías escuchar la cancion titulada Seru Giran, y podes sentirte libre de interpretar lo que te haga sentir, dado que son palabras inventadas.
