Talent finds talent. Twitch took in Taka and Genke - all amazing riders with a variety of riding talent. He's inspired me (41 Momma) to invest in a bike and start "fun" riding with my eager 10 y/o daughter and again with my Dad. Military broke, but a mechanical genious, he built me my 1st bike from spare parts when I was 7. I hopped off when it was time to hit college and build a life. I am ready to LIVE again and bring my live of dirt and moto back into my life. So excited!!

Can't believe Hodges and Bereman are still sending it at X-Games. Must be a dream come true hosting this competition on his home turf. Gorgeous property.
I love how twitch is so supportive of the other riders, I saw him a couple years ago teaching Axel how to improve a jump and he was selfless in his support.
That Tom dudes whips were Rad, super inverted & both directions!

Parsons whip at 13:05 in the elimination round was the best one he did. And he was placed 3rd. ... And then come final round he doesn't whip as well and places 1st. 🤔 But he did definitely deserve it.

They need to make line sections of dirt and ramp hits and have a style contest whips only and give them like 5 minutes to throw down on a course and then just rate them. Its getting kinda boring now, they need more freeride style hits.
Get some scrub jumps too and put of corner hits. Make the course kind tricky.

With all the different styles you know what I mean I think a whip should be the more traditional with like what Tyler Berumen does I think the ones like Jared McNeil and wanky do should be called something different I think that is way more gnarly it's like a 180 and back around forward totally not a traditional whip
Did that announcer really say you can't make these jumps on a 2 stroke??
He said it's harder due to the conditions and size.
Yeah buddy , the jumps are that big !! 250 2 strokes don't have enough torque or power to get the pop off the lips that the 450's do.
@@pauldayton5285 having owned both I can assure you a 250 2 stroke could overjump that by 50 feet
@@natetwarog1938 I was just trying to be funny. I should have put lol at the end of my post. I've owned both 250 & 450 also. Obviously a 250 2 stroke can go big for instance Manny's house is 200ft plus & Scummy , Twitch , Seth were easily clearing that gap on 2 stroke 250's back in the late 90's early 2000's.

@@cordellpak think about it, a whip is sort of a trick. Now imagine a competition of doing the same trick? Doesn't make sense. I loved it the first few years of competition but now it's the same every year.
@@robshef1903 You don't get it. It's about who has the BEST whip lol and there are different whips in which some riders go so big you wonder how they can bring their bike back around and land it.. Bet you've never ridden in your entire life I can just tell by the ignorance in your comments.
@@ave0828 there's quite a few different styles of whips obviously lol. Would love to catch you out in ocotillio or anywhere that has big jumps I'm sure you probably wouldn't attempt. I don't even know why I'm replying to you knowing you're probably a joke on a bike.
