  • Utilizing decades of experience developing the world’s leading spark plugs, the Iridium TT draws from the best features of the DENSO family of spark plugs, giving you more power in a more versatile plug. Engineered with the smallest tip in the market, the DENSO Iridium TT spark plug delivers more complete combustion, giving you superior fuel economy over any other plug. Unparalleled, the Iridium TT is designed to last beyond 100,000 miles - providing coverage for most makes and models on the road today.

    These plugs are incredible. I am so surprised that no one in the car community mentions them at all. Power is great and I get significantly better MPG.

  • @TheRalphacosta
    @TheRalphacosta ปีที่แล้ว +9

    Since these 1st came out, we tried them on our strictly full race car and our mph increased, rpms remain the same but got there faster. and lap times drop significantly. Amazing enough, Its now in all my daily driven vehicles.
    Its not just the iridium but the technology, size.+shape of the electrode and placement of all parts combined in the plug.

    Great plugs ! Probably the best ! Used them in LPG powered engine with compression ratio of 11.5:1 and they are indexed . Everything is better : the start is faster , the idling is smoother , the acceleration is faster , the fuel economy is noticeable better and the max speed is higher with about 10km/h in my case . Because you have to press less the accelerator pedal in order to accelerate as usually you are used to , the feeling is as the car is few hundreds kilos lighter .
    The electrodes practically doesn’t where out and spark gaps doesn’t need adjustment which will save your ignition coils if you are a bit careless about the maintenance . They last over 100K km ( 63K miles)so , much than well worth their price !
    I recommend them !

    I just replaced the OEM Denso spark plugs on my 2016 Nissan Altima S 2.5L with the Denso TTs, and then cleaned my mass air flow sensor and I got up to 45.5 mpg on the highway cruising at 65 mph! I’m idling at lower rpm’s too and my engine is purring. I seriously love these new plugs.

    I switched from Bosch 9617 double iridium plugs to these iridium tt plugs. The Bosch plug was great but these plugs makes my car run even more smooth and quiet. I can’t even tell the car is on because it runs so quietly. Definitely get these plugs if you have an older car or a car that runs rough. Mine wasn’t running rough, it just feels even smoother which I didn’t think was possible. I have a 1995 Toyota celica. My 2000 Toyota Avalon takes the same plugs so I might take the Bosch ones out and switch them to these as well!

    I've been eyeballing these for awhile and I'm going to buy a set of 8 for my 1994 gmc sierra k-1500 4x4. I bought a set of Denso plug wires . Just got them today. After I find the correct size plug for my truck I'm going to order these Denso TT Iridium Plugs. If they work as Great as they say..? I will be buying for my Motorcycles.

    First, thank you because it is the first video that has a very good and detailed explanation, really, thank you very much, very good.
    And second, I'm going to make a comment that nobody makes, about spark plugs, timing chains, fuel filters, etc. The changes of these articles are based, very wrongly in my opinion, on KM traveled, eg: change the spark plugs every 40,000 km o miles , the distribution chain every 100,000, this is wrong.
    And I explain why.
    In cities like Bogota, Buenos Aires, Caracas and I could name many more, one can take hours with the engine running to travel only 30 KM, due to traffic jams, etc.. If this is your case even if the car does not travel many KM, the engine if they are on, with their spark plugs generating spark, with their distribution chain turning, etc. . For these cases, do not be guided by the number of KM traveled because it is a false unit of measure that does not represent the real wear of the spark plugs and these parts. I think it's a very important point that no one talks about in the videos.
    Moreover, I believe that cars should have a timer or timer that shows how long the engine is running and according to that one should make changes to these products.

    I'm using the Plugs on my M Colt 1.3 Petrol (Old Version from 2005). Tested on normal road conditions "Bundesstrasse".
    Consumption
    Previously: Bosch Super (Standard): ~4.8L on 62Mph (100Km/h)
    New: IKH20TT ~4.3L " "
    speed up to 62mph
    Bosch: ~10.7
    IKH20: ~10.3
    I'm just convinced of the improvement. Denso is and will remain my favorite. I forgot Bosch and NGK :)

    Bought these yesterday for my 99 4runner. My brother proceeded to "gap" the first one by using a gap coin and forcing the plug to the gap needed and broke the tip of the electrode off. We went ahead and installed them all as he said "thats how you gap them and it wont affect it" and needless to say, its idling like shit and has no guts going up hill. 🙄
    Wish i could say how awesome these plugs are but i now have to buy a 7th plug to find out...

    • @logmeindog
      @logmeindog 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It all depends on the thread size and pitch of the spark plug and whether the spark plug has a gasket or it is a tapered seat. For a gasketed M14x1.25mm pitch spark plug for example, NGK recommends 18-25.3 lb. ft. for Cast Iron, 18-21.6 lb. ft. for Aluminum. In that case, I torque to 20 lb. ft. Old-school manufacturers used to have "hand tight + some fraction of a turn, which is acceptable. NGK writes the recommended torque value for that specific plug on the box, which is nice.

    • @brblum
      @brblum 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @brockturner3112 Sounds low. I believe the spec that I've seen is 20-25 Newton Meters for a 14mm threaded plug. Essentially about 15-18 foot pounds. Ish.
