Thanks alot Scot I've been plugged in to your tutorials frequently over the last number of years and you've been teaching me quite alot, thought i'd just say I appreciate your time - energy - input thanks alot or as we say in Ireland " thanks a milllllion".
I like the presentation Scott some folk can be a tad lazy with music theory and basic structure can always be built on music is a natural high cioa amigos
Nice video. Learned the rhythm with the slapping that I never did before!, Thank you for that.. it is a bit confusing though..why show the Eb on the 3rd fret and Dm 1st position and never incorporate these chords in these positions in the tutorial? Also, for those not playing bar chords, you could just capo the 3rd fret and alternate the bass lines. You don’t really get that reggae tight beat if you let the 3 strings ring out but it is an option. Thanks again. Hope you answer my ?
Oh please teach us! I can’t wait to be schooled on the *real*, *raw* and definitely outside-the-country club reggae guitar that also incorporates the bass and the drums all for fingerstyle guitar!! Go ahead and post your amazing tutorial right here we’re all looking forward to it!
@@TheVersatileGuitarist You're a bit touchy ain't you mate. @robletcher2131 was merely pointing out what fans and exponents of reggae can hear instantly, namely that what's being played would not be considered reggae. He said it nicely too, so ease up on the sarcasm and vitriol old chap, you're better than that. One Love.
Actually, it's a pretty good example of the 60's-80's folky type reggae guitar. A slightly different tempo and it would fit in a slower Chaka Demus song.
@@denmanwarren2696Your wrong my friend, hes not touchy, its just hard to deal with idiots that don't know what they're talking about, clever skilled people are not trained to deal with losers, infact you might be more equipped to reason with them.

God damn your teaching style is just so inspiring to me.
Teaching concepts and ingredients for the song instead of the finished product.

Thanks for watching!

It’s confusing though,….the versus are Eb, Dm, Gm?
The beginning two chords are Gm, Cm ? Why so difficult? Am I missing something?
