Points:
1. Exodus 33:1-6 If we sin His Presence will not Go with us: Let us not Neglect so great a salvation
1.1. (1-3) He does not totally reject us He Keeps His Promises but we get second best
1.2. (4-6) If little was responsible for the idol that separated us from Him He will remove the lot.. Just as the earrings were responsible for the idolatry and sin of the Israelites and God took away all their ornaments .. Yet that only deferred His Discipline …….. He said “ …That I may know what to do with you”
2. Exodus 33:7-11 We risk losing His friendship (John 15:15)
2.1. As friend, we have a one on one relationship Vs 11
2.2. We bring others into relationship with Him (People went to the tent of meeting where Moses and God met Vs 7
2.3. Instead of Inspiring people to worship we would trample on His name Hebrews 6:6
3. Exodus 33:12-23 Way of Restoration (For Self an Others: - Prayer and Intersession)
3.1. 12-13a Name your Name before Him in Humility and not in arrogance. Listen for His voice
John 10:3
3.2. 14 Remember that an affront of yours is a personal is an affront to His Body
3.3. 15-16 Remember at stake is your exclusive relationship.
