I listened to Sam Cooke, Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles, because my mom loved soul music more than Frank Sinatra and those other singers of the standards back then. She taught me to live by "The Golden Rule", which i have done my entire life and always will! Listening to this young man sing one of my favorites of Sam Cooke's songs, it was like he was alive once more!!!! You really do have an amazing talent!!!!

Yea, I'm 68 and I can't understand what these younger ones are screaming. I listened to all these songs on my 9v transistor radio, until my battery went dead. All these songs from the 60's I can relate to, Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, War, Beatles, BB King, Aretha Franklin and Loretta Lynn! Those old school girls stood up to men when that was not the normal!! It's great to be American!
