You guys are awesome and the content you guys put out is awesome! Thank you both so much for being a very very very select few that provides us niche audience with the things you do. I hope you guys know how much we truly appreciate it. Additionally, I really did like the commentary on this one, it was just good, purely content driven, I like it!
Anything is coachable as long as it is consistent. Same thing I tell people I work with. As long as it's not a massive technique issue I coach around it.
First time I saw her do a split jerk, I had to replay it to make sure I saw what I really saw. So I guess, I've never not seen it. Her explosiveness really is amazing!
Sadly she did 112 kg for the snatch and her shuffle cost her her second c&j attempt. In fact she did not succeed at all her two firsts 127 kg c&j attempts. Toma missed her second c&j attempt in part because of her habit to shuffle forward her right foot after receiving the bar and her split became too wide and she lost all balance. But being quite a fighter she succeeded her third 128 kg c&j.
Dave Spitz always talks about the back foot "anchoring" and THEN stepping out with the front leg. I don't see it as a wild or crazy technique, just extremely exaggerated application of the same technique. Exception, not the rule.
i have very small experience but from watching loads of videos i've experiemnted with my jerk style and this style of planting your back leg before stepping the front forwards feels so much more stable to me, granted you have to be quicker with your legs. That said, i don't understand the heel dropping and coming back up to step through
Every single training video I watch, every single trainer points out how important it is the pull the bar closer to your body after the hip contact. My PT is trying to teach me how to snatch and he keeps saying that I just don’t pull the bar as I keep my elbows upright. Now; have a look at the position of the arms and the bar at 1:56 seconds! What do you see for the love of humanity?

Man, her form is so fluid and her technique is amazing as well.

Ngl watching this video alone prompted a massive jump in my snatch technique, so thanks a thousand times for uploading

116 kg that's insaneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Love this!!! Thank you!!
Toma is electric
GREAT video, wow
Thanks for the vid, guys, but what did I get wrong? 15(bar)+50+40+10+5(locks)+0.5 = 121...??? Oh, did they use the plastic clamps, not the metal?
She uses both in this.. olimpic and plastic and looks like in the 116kg snatch attempt she uses plastic clamps..
Light weight baby
who went back here after Toma hit 114kg at the Europeans yesterday?
So strong. I struggle to hit 70kg.
WoW !!!!
Impressive!!
Красивая, сильная ларедана.
She lift 224lb like nothing 👁👄👁 and then it’s me dying already with 85lb plus hesitating with the technique

😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 ...Me encanta
🤔 Did she develop this split jerk technique following her knee's injury/pain ???

Yeah from everything I've ever seen that would be a mistake?
Can someone explain why the coach always watches with his head at 90 degrees? What's he watching exactly?
Yeah that's just weird
There's literally nothing he can see that way, that he can't see with his head upright
Super Ladi with a beautiful figure. This lady has the perfect tehnique. I admire how fantastic you understand weights

Never understood the elbow arm miss lift
You have to keep the elbows locked. If one of the elbows become unlocked and you have to ‘press’ them back that’s a foul
Old rules to distinguish clean and press from clean and jerk but its objectively outdated so it should be removed
137 kg is there
🏋️😍
Goddess

I love her
😳
Что ей колят ?
Я тоже хочу такое.
Хотя-бы в такой же дозировке
Now she has to do 117 to make this video fake news :P JK
wait a minute, so women got 15 kg bar instead 20kg bar. I didnt know that
women's bar is 6ft (men's 7ft) and its a bit thinner, dont know the thickness of the top of my head
I'm guessing it's the thickness (as Daniel said)
Woman's bar is 15 kg and 25 mm.
