I get a feeling that u would become a good channel on color grading n color mgmt. Btw,that light (whatever it is) on the right side ,near the monitor,is grabbing the attention more..subbed!❤
Thank you very much Raoul for your excellent video. Very much appreciated. Quick question if you dont mind please. I am shooting video on a Kodak Pixpro AZ421 1280x720 HD .mov H264 High L3.1 . I am trying to find the best input colour space setting . I have set input to REC 709 (scene) Timeline DaVinci WG Intermediate Output Rec 709 Gamma 2.4. Just wondering if I am correct in this? I have searched forums for correct .mov input settings to no avail. My monitor outputs are consumer devises ie phones tablets and television monitors viewing the content I upload to TH-cam. Thanks again
If working colour managed, what input do you select if you have mixed cameras in the timeline? Or is it best in this instance to go the node based route? Thanks. BTW. I paused the video to ask. Apologies if this is addressed later in the video.
Thanks for the question! You can do it in both. I’ll cover it more specifically in another video for project settings but I usually color manage in nodes and I think grouping similar cams together and doing it in nodes is easier for me.
If I set color management in Aces, input clog 3..., would I still need a Aces CST node in my grade or can I start grading? Would I still need to tell ACES this file is colog 3?
