My name is Eric and I travel with my cat, “Jax” in a 2012 Coachmen Mirada 32BH Class A Motorhome on a Ford Super Duty truck chassis. (V10 Triton) We travel about 35 miles a day chasing 70 degrees year-round since 2010. I travel with a 2009 Honda CMX 250 on the back of my RV on a Titan Ramp 600lb carrier. Bike goes 78mph and gets 70mpg. Here is my gear & some popular questions answered:

Oh, hell yeah! Gulf Coast Mississippi is a great place! I am so glad I enjoyed a straight week of Biloxi before Hurricane Katrina blew it away.

You're on the Mississippi sound, which is more like a bay. You have to go out to the barrier islands to see the clear water. There's a ferry that will take you out to Ship Island, which is a fun day trip. You're not far from there where you are parked.
Finally got down to Mississippi again and went to this spot. Your little sickly palm tree is gone. The city also put up “No Overnight Parking” signs now. But, it’s just a beautiful as always. 👍

Eric you have to go floundering , fun and delicious. I use to live 25th st. Hughes Ave Gulfport on the line of Biloxi. Just north of the train tracks and I walked to the beach almost every day to go floundering.

Glad you enjoyed the Mississippi gulf coast. The sand is not hauled from Florida for our beaches. The barrier islands is the only reason our water does not look like the emerald color of Florida beaches. We live here and go to Pensacola area to swim and enjoy. Hope you enjoyed some good gulf shrimp and oysters while you were here. Safe travels!

White sand beaches on the Gulf Coast are a result of pure, white quartz crystal that washed down from the Appalachian Mountains and was deposited in the Gulf of Mexico. They are beautiful beaches.
