Amazing how the H2H matters now, but didn't when Tennessee had the win over Alabama... or lets not forget when vandy had the H2H either against Bama with the same record. Amazing how its pick and chose how to get Alabama in any way possible. Sometimes those logos just mean more.

When Tennessee had the win over Alabama Alabama beat Georgia and Georgia beat Tennessee. It's not fair any way you put it because its a circle. If they put bama ahead of tennessee its not fair because tennessee beat them. Putting tennessee above bama doesn't work either because bama beat georgia and georgia beat tennessee.

H2H didn’t matter with Bama v. Tenn because Bama beat UGA and UGA beat Tenn. It’s a triangle of teams that beat each other so H2H washes out. Bama was ranked higher because their SOS & SOR were better than Tenn, and UGA had just lost big to Ole Miss. Whatever arg you’re trying to make ab Vandy is ridiculous and truly doesn’t deserve a response if you know ball.

Yea Bama won on an absolutely INSANE “f it Ryan Williams down there some where” play….but then Georgia marched right down the field and was in scoring distance to win it when Beck and the offensive staff got too greedy with 50 seconds left and two timeouts.

Yeah you gotta respect the game plan they came in with to do what they did in that first half and mostly first quarter and also winning the game.
No you can’t call it a fluke because Bama ran the same offense and defense in the second half and all 22 film shows that.
But if you’re going to give Bama credit for that home win, then you have to equally give credit to Georgia for what they were able to do.

    College Football Tournament
Turn the college football playoff into the college football tournament. Expand it to 24 teams and have 8 slots dedicated to a playoff bye. Conferences that have made the four team playoff format have what I call final four rights. If they have 16 or more teams they are guaranteed two playoff spots. If they have less than 16 teams, but still have 8 or more teams; they will be granted 1 playoff spot. To earn final four rights your conference must make the final four in the tournament. If your conference earns final four rights it will gain 1 or 2 guaranteed playoff spots depending on how many teams your conference has.
The final four rights will encourage teams to realign to conferences with guaranteed spots. This will help the pac-12 grow and it will eventually open up another conference when they break into the final four. This will help direct conference realignment.
The 8 byes are reserved for division winners only. If your conference has more than 16 teams you'll break your conference into two divisions. You can rotate the divisions every year. In the Big Ten there would be 2 nine team divisions. You'd play everyone in your division once, plus one team in the other division. You'd still have 3 games available to schedule a tune up game or a rivalry game. The winner of each division would get the guaranteed playoff spot and possible bye. You could set up the entire Power 4 like this and the Pac-12 could eventually catch up. You'd eliminate conference championships and play the first round the same weekend as conference championship games. The college football committee would select who gets a bye and the final 16-13 spots. The group of five are guaranteed 3 spots if they are ranked. If they win their division or conference they could potentially get a bye. Boise State this year is an example. The first round would be played at neutral sites just like conference championships. The second round would be rewarded to the division winners who received a top 8 seed. They would receive a home playoff game. Every game after that is a neutral field. This would make the season at most 17 games. That's the same amount a sec or big ten champ loser might play this season if they can make a run in the playoffs and make to the championship final.

Clemson, the team he is championing lost to two SEC teams that Alabama and Ole Miss beat.
The goal is to get the vest teams in with a blend of deserving. The people who complain about a 2 loss ACC team should get in over a 3 loss SEC team are given their space with an auto bid by winning their conference.

😂ASU was 16th last week, now 12th for some unknown reason after blowing out a terrible team. How terrible? That team has 8 losses and only 4 wins. The 4 wins were against teams with losing records and one mid FCS team. (Mind you, ASU has a loss to a team that has 8 losses, and one loss to a team with 4 losses, and barely beat an FCS team, and many close wins over teams with losing records.). Then you have South Carolina, [SEC] that was 15th last week, one spot ahead of ASU. They defeat the 12th ranked team this week and get jumped by ASU. OK…but the #6 team loses to a top 25 Syracuse team, and they fall all the way down to right below ASU, and SC, cause they don’t want to make it look as obvious. * *Note that the SEC already has a bye spot, they can’t have 2. This is why they’re letting ASU jump SC, even though it’s 100% wrong. Same reason Miami moved down below them, of course. ***This is not for sure that BSU misses out on the bye, but i think they’re doing everything possible to make it a pathway to happen. BSU would have to have a close win, (which they likely would, if they do win. UNLV is underrated with only losing to Syracuse because of the refs, and BSU...and the teams know each other well, it will likely be close.). and if ASU happens to win by a couple scores....
PS….this will be first time ASU and Iowa St play, in their conf championship game. Iowa is ranked 16th… but has losses to an 8 loss team and 4 loss team, and no ranked wins. And that’s not all…of their 12 games played only 3 had winning D1 records and 2 were FCS teams…..and one of the FCS teams they beat 21-3, has a 5-7 record. (All against FCS teams besides Iowa State game.)

12 team playoff just added more wailing and gnashing of teeth. Thats all. Pandora's Box got opened a long time ago bud. FSU last year. Putting TCU in the least watched CFB championship game before that. We tried the most "deserving" nonsense, failed miserably. The list goes on and on. Its $$$. ITS THE 12 BEST TEAMS. Don't you get it? People crying, whigning and arguing is simply more eyeballs at the end of the day. Apparently yall have never walked the yellow brick road and pulled back the curtain to see the goblin working the levers of power. Bama is in. Let the hate flow like a raging river. In the end, you'll still tune in and they Know This.

Feel bad for SC I think they the hottest team at 9-3 group. Ole Miss and Bama just had recent losses forget about the H2H matchups ots about how are you playing NOW. SC juat beat a RANKED team they should get in.
