Such a terrific video clip! You are fabulous including all steps leading up to exercise success. I have your dvd’s but these clips are so useful when I go to train my dog elsewhere what and need a quick refresher. Thank you for your training generosity.

Thank you so much fro your beginning intro stating all trainers have different applications to using this exercise, and the fact it has many names. Some more names include touch pad and pivot box :) This was a great video by the way! I just made a body awareness video myself! :) You are a very good speaker, due to my disabilities I have a rough time with speaking in general without losing my train of thought and its double bad when I am also doing something such as the exercise itself haha. I loved your nice loud audible voice and confidence!

Fantastic. I had originally learned to step towards the dog with head help up by Lure to get the rotation but this is way less intrusive

My dog cant figure this out facing me, but does well in heel position. I ask her to work this by asking her "come on! do you want to show off your awesome sauce?" And besides the treat, her reward is to hear "Awesome Sauce!"

I Really like this demo and want to try it …how do you stop your dog from sitting down when he outs his front paws on the ot? i have a small dog and he tends to try to sit….so Im constantly resetting him….any suggestions how to reinforce he is not to sit?

It can be easier with a puppy who has no history of being reinforced for the sit. Dogs who know sit equals being good do tend to do that. Just start small and reward the nano-second a paw or two goes on the pot, if you click that before your dog tries to sit he will eventually start to understand that standing is what you want.

I have been looking for a video to increase my dogs rear leg awareness. This looks great and I appreciate how you broke down the steps. My dog focuses on my treat hand a lot so the mouth makes sense. However, while he loves string cheese, I am vegan and will not put cheese in my mouth. Do you have an alternative? He will look at me when told and his focus is good. Maybe a pouch tied high around my neck? Thanks for another informative video. Steve

+Foreverchanges - Try cooking some french fries or sweet potato fries, dogs love them and it is human grade as is the string cheese. If your dog is really toy motivated you can use a ball under your chin ...

Personally I don't use clicker much (yah yah I know) because with 5 dogs they all think it's for them and get upset when only one dog gets a cookie

Also it's a shame people don't make these videos with dogs that don't know what they are doing.

+Bearlee Survivin I think it's a good thing, that shows what it's suppose to look like and what you and your dog need to work towards!

+Baylee, Chewy & Vader - I think people should be thankful for free video's!. I also have DVD's for sale that show more in depth "how to" training that can be purchased thru www.tntkennels.com Thank you Baylee for your comments, it takes a lot of time and effort to make & post these clips so I am glad you found it useful.

I agree. Free videos still take time and labor. Using dogs that have at least started to learn the command/task/exercise makes these videos more organized, and helps people to see how the final results should look. I think the video was great! Good Job!
