Purchased this shave bowl. I had been wanting an "indrustible" shave bowl for sometime. Used the bowl twice. To be honest.....this bowl is not for me. The bowl is too small. My shave brush clicks and clangs while making my lather. The bumps on the inside of the bowl are far too big....taking up far too much space. The bowl should be at least 6.5in. wide. I am now using my trusted ceramic shave bowl that has ridges. I'm really disappointed.
In these Inflationary Times. HERE IS AN EASY WAY TO DO IT MY FRIENDs Use any hard Bar Soap, Tallow or Glycerin based Soaps out there? To fit in any Mugs or Cups? Like" (Mitchells' Wool Fat or Arko Sticks. Just to name a few of them?) You can mix and match your old Soaps? Cut up the soap on a paper plate, pour your soap chunks with the shavings from the Paper Plate into a Mug, cover the soap with a small amount of water, and microwave your soap. For about a minute or so? Place a paper plate under your mug in case it bubbles out of your cup? If it foams up, STOP. The water keeps it from burning itself up. (DON'T OVER WATER YOUR SOAP??) Easy, does it? Let cool don't want to Crack the Mugs or Cups you're using? (You just want it to Congeal in your Mug or Cup') it is very hot and watery'''''. let it cool in PLACE'. after it cools, put it in a Sunny Window, until the Soap hardens? When using your soaps, use Dry Brush Less Water. It thickens the soap, making it easier to use on your face. Save your Money, spend it on your wife, don't listen to the shave Mafia. It saves me time and Money. Wheelchair Larry Happy New Year. Your Mileage may vary?
Very nice Scott, if I was in the market for another bowl I would buy this with the dimples in. I own a 6c and been thinking of selling the 6c and buying the 6s so I might bite the bullet and get it. Have a great weekend Paul
Great unboxing Scott! Beautiful bowl! Think I need to get one of those. I have 2 6S razors. One is the standard color you are showing, and the other is red. Love them both. Plate number 5 is the best for me. Best regards, Glenn

I got the 6S also 3 plate works well for me.
You are going to love the 6S. I'm a daily shaver and the R4 plate is my favorite. The Astra blade is a good choice.
Damn right with the astra! Also like the old persona’s
Slow it down!
Can't. I'm from New England. We talk fast, keep up or falk behind.
I have this razor and love it only con is wish the top cap was extended to the blade ends !!
Yes, I too prefer razors where the ends are covered. What is your favorite plate?
