Honestly mate I do believe it's a good addition to tackle the much renowned fines issues with thr nexus filters. I do believe it needs some modifications with some open slats right at the bottom to allow some water to pass through it. With the only openings being directing underneath the unit it easily gets clogged up and needs cleaning every other day during High season. But I definitely think it's a good addition to an already excellent filter imo.
@Project Koi ahhh nice honest answer that. I'm a tad sceptical on it as I don't think it will be efficient in high season, but the nexus definitely needs some kind of adjustment for the fines issue. I get loads straight after a filter clean, can see the dirt disappearing down the centre tube and ends up in the pond for a day!! Apart from that I have zero issues with the nexus 👍

Will do pal, as I said they're great filters just the fines issue for me. Hopefully this modification will sort it out

I'm using the Cetus sieve with the old nexus 200 pre 2006 with a diy easy 😭. Have you sold your easy?
Yes I've moved it on mate as I plan on upgrading to a drum soon.

Hi m8 looking at buying trident for my nexus 200 is the airline ring under neath as with the easy or is it plug the air line in at the side m8
The airline is underneath like on the original but as an elbow to the side to attach your airline to it
