I purchased a 20mm smooth, pure white FKM strap. I really like it, great fit and feel. Only nitpick is that the smooth straps are really long. The straight-end smooth straps are 75x140mm, compared to an ISOFrane which are 75x125mm. A stock Seiko STO rubber strap is 130 or 135mm on the long end. If you have smaller wrists you are going to have a lot of excess strap on the long end.
These look great. Would be nice to have a “short” option for us small wrist folk!
Thanks a lot for bringing in the FKM rubber straps and giving us the option between metal and rubber keepers. And please bring back the Northport Seafoam in stock soon, cant wait to pick one up when it is available.

I want one with locking keepers! Like the barton silicone elite straps, but FKM
They're making their own FKM straps, but I bought Mark's version for the long length. FWIW I broke one of Barton's regular silicone straps where the spring bar goes through. The Elite silicone seems ok, though. I would still buy from Mark because he seems to care a lot about quality. I could have lost my expensive watch with that Barton strap. All of Barton's other straps seem ok and I like them.
I have the “new” Marathon FKM… very nice stuff (it had better be 🙄). Can’t wait to try these!!!!!

Love the straps, I would buy more if they were longer. Wrists 8 1/2.....:( Not fat either, otherwise I could keto my wrists down....My last fkm was too short to stay in the sleeve thing.

Awesome straps, Marc. I am still wearing the Crafter Blue straps that I bought from you 5 years ago, so maybe it is time to freshen up my Seikos with a few of these new FKMs! 😊 By the way, do you plan restocking the Bayport Blue Dial #ISL-120 at some point? These sold out before I could pull the trigger. I wish you and yours a wonderful festive season, and many more LIW highlights for 2023.

Been really happy with the blue Southold I picked up last month. I had been eyeing it since its release, and was stoked to see the sale. It's a great watch. I was very surprised at the softness of the seiko turtle and willard straps. The Hamilton khaki diver rubber strap in comparison is much harder and slightly rougher, I regret paying the premium.
How would you compare the softness of these to seiko turtle strap ?

Nice straps Marc, only problem is there far too long for my skinny wrists :( 10.5/11 x 6.5/7 is ideal length for us chicken wristed guys :)

On the rounded end, theres no way to take the metal keeper off
Would appreciate a 18mm FKM strap. There aren’t many options for 18mm rubber straps, I’m stuck with either Barton Silicone then it jumps in price to (a very nice but expensive) Hirsch Pure natural rubber

8.5 will be a stretch. A bracelet with extra links would be the best bet. We can include the bracelet links for free if you get one.

A color that would work nicely with the returning Northport on a flat strap would be good. None of those is a particularly good match.
White looks nice on everything, IMO

I don't like pin buckles. See how Omega does it with deploying clasp. Do that I'll be your first customer.

@@islandwatch thanks Marc. I think that's the one, the strap is def. how I remember but I thought the dial was more stealth but then my memory is terrible. there's also SRPD79K1 which is more stealth but doesn't have the chunky strap. There's also Prospex Black Series SPB125J1 - edition of 7000.
