- Hello and welcome to my Subscribers and to those who visted my channel for my latest video.
On Thursday 28th September, I once again headed on SWML and visted Winchester Station for evening filming.
It is lovely ststion which is located within heart of city centre.
It’s also very scenic as you have got archway of the view that leads towards Eastleigh which I find very amusing. And you got a nice view of long stretch track that leads towards London, where you can see trains approaching at long distance.
This station is very well organised and well looked after, and quite a lot of good facilities. As there is a little coffee shop on Platform 1, and Costa Coffee on Platform 2 and a shop near the ticket barrier and entrance.
Winchester has quite a good amount of trains that stops and pass here.
And it’s very well known to have fast through Freights.
We have in this video mostly SWR Desiros, 444, 450, 701 Arterio on testings. Cross Country Voyagers.
Freights Class 66, 70, even Class 68 Nuclear Flask Train which I didn’t know about which was a surprise for me, and much more.

Yes, SWR do run some Hybrid units on both Weymouth, Portsmouth - Waterloo services!
Can you do Farnham train station
One day in future I’ll visit. But not at this present time as I’m only limited to where I can go at the moment, due to funds etc.
