The cell phone connection is expected to be very limited foreseeably, won't even support a phone call but emergency texting from anywhere.
Is that due to the way it's put out ? Sounds weird to have 1080 video at high speed but can't handle a phone call ?
@@Zachary_Walker Notice the size of starlink dish for internet? Not huge but a hell of a lot bigger than a phone, plus it needs to aim itself properly. Maybe you meant a phone connection over Starlink unit, I was referring to direct to phone which I can't believe even works.
(I believe bc they say so, astounding, and for existing phones not even designed for specifically for it)

STARLINK IS SKYNET
Had Starlink at our cabin in Northern Michigan. Worked great.. nice option for off grid. They ended up running fiber optic to it so sold Starlink system but no complaints.
We don’t need to be “saved.” We can save our own damn selves, duh.
The fact we use and think we need the internet is what proves we are not intelligent

@@XD9scCC I certainly hope so. I'm paying $80/mo to AT&T for their junk Fixed Internet. By today's standards, Fixed Internet may as well be dial-up. All options available to my location are no better, unless I pay for the "luxury" option of Starlink. Grrrr....

5:33 AI is only as unbiased as the programmers. There is also the fact that small population states would struggle to get their needs met. Now they have just as much pull as big states in the senate. If totally analytical computers were to just look to the best for the largest percentage of people then those less populous areas would be ignored. Heck it would be like the rural folks in Oregon and California already deal with.

Zero fiber? Huh, they just over the last year fibered Hawaii, pretty much everyone i know has abandoned cable WiFi and are fiber now, so I’ve got issue with the “zero fiber “ statement.
