And you can hear that you are smart and pretty. Women struggle a lot with low self esteem with how they look, they need to hear early from their parents that they are beautiful just as they are.

If we teach them the hierarchy is good > smart > pretty, they will appreciate being called a good person more than a pretty person.
I didn't know beauty existed until i was an adolescent, when my friend mentioned that she is not very pretty. I asked her what do you mean "not pretty". Cz in my mind, it wasn't a thing. That's how i was brought up in the 2000s. In my mind it didn't matter how anyone looked, but their behaviour towards me, their language, how read they are.. and intentions meant much more.
These days with so much social media exposure, it's even more important than we bring them up saying the right things.
I'm in tears right now...Her time with dad is so critical to her development. Memories like these with my father are so precious to me.

Im sorry that you didn't get to experience that I also did not experience that I do have six older brothers I'm the baby and the only girl so my brothers always shaped how I felt about myself my self-confidence and always told me I was beautiful one brother particular who is now passed on he always used to help me get ready for school and he would do stuff like this with me I miss him so much I'm crying right now but I pray you find some comfort anybody that can make you feel good about yourself can be that person because you know what my mom was my dad too

So sad for your experiences......My dad left when I was 2. He would come back to visit from several states but my mother was so nasty he finally stopped coming. She was from hell on every level. He was wise to leave. Not always the leaving person's fault. God bless.

When I was a kid I used to live with my grandparents, my uncle and his family and every morning before going to school my uncle would tie my hair in a very stylish manner. Different hairstyles everyday! My teachers would always be amazed everytime I enter our classroom. So much so that I got an award for being the most neat student in the class. Hahaha He's the best uncle in the world! He's a wonderful dad to my cousins too even though he and his wife separated later on.

I've always felt incredibly lucky that my husband is like this with our girls....loving,patient and lived for them! They don't even realize how lucky they are to not just have a daddy that would lay down his life for them but to have both parents who still love eachother. The family unit isn't common enough these days

There's a reason you got all the nutty people running around these days....it's ALL starts at home. I fully believe you are a product of your environment. My mom and dad were eachothwrs first love and were together and in love until the day my mom passed away and family values has always been VERY important to me. My husband and I live for our girls....everything we do we first think about if it's best for our girls. I hope they will grow up to make a big change from what's "normal" these days...I hope they will help set the world straight again one day! The more scared weak individuals there are the easier it is for the man to control the population

If a female is treated with so much respect and honour at such a young age, it increases her self worth and decreases the chances of her settling for anything less in her adult friendships/relationships. My son is about to turn 2 February 25th. It's crazy how fast they grow. I remember when he was just this little tiny peanut who is helpless. Now he's running around the house and helping Mama. This little girl reminds me of him because his hair is so curly like that. I already told him he's not allowed to grow LOL. I want him to stay little forever. I know he can't, I just know I'm going to miss when he's not so little anymore. He's a sweet boy though. I can already tell he's going to be a good person.

What a great dad. I wish my father treated me like that. He never had time for his only daughter. Keep up the great work dad. Make that child happy, never disappoint her because if you do you may never get her back. My father never got me back. He tried to get me back but he was 60 years to late. He had already damaged my heart. I forgave him but I can't forget too much hurt and I knew he would just hurt me over and over again and I just couldn't take the PAIN AND DISAPPOINTMENT.

So important for dads to make time for special moments like these. My dad unfortunately worked entirely too much. I know he wanted to provide us with a large home and nice cars ect but we barely knew each other and sadly he passed away tragically at 55. I would've still been proud to live in an apartment and ride in a used station wagon instead because I think he was a very interesting intelligent man. I would've loved to have been his friend and learn more about him. Miss you dad.💔

Same here. Dad raised me but never got to see him as he worked a lot. I never felt that much love but I have 3 beautiful daughters and 3 handsome grandsons and my mission has always been to be here for them. And I did their whole lives as I was lucky enough to stay at home with them. #blessed#family#love 🥰😁💯

That is so endearing and it gives me such a great memory for my little girl was little when she was a baby I used to do the same games now she's almost 50 she's still my little girl I know when my daughter's in trouble for something she'll always call me Daddy and then I know I have to get to her ASAP something's going on and she doesn't know how to deal with it
