The good thing is, she is far more likely to find a guy who loves her as much as her Dad because of her Dad. Having a great father helps girls to know what kind of man to look for. My dad was amazing, and I when I met my husband I saw that he had a lot of the same wonderful qualities that my dad had. We've been happily married for 12 years, and I can't imagine my life without him. I was never interested in bad boys like most women, so I picked the sweet loving guy who is so often overlooked. But so many girls don't think they deserve a good guy. Because they didn't have a good daddy to show them how precious they truly are and what they deserve.

It's not hard, instead of thinking of yourself first, always put her first. My daughter's 19, lives out of home now, and we're close as. Just be there for them consistently, and always treat them with respect, and you can't go wrong.

Sure, love and respect were mentioned, and she means well, highly likely - I guess, but overall it has rose glasses and it's heavily romanticizing presence of a father (falls in love with?) written all over it.
This is wrong attitude to be perpetuated if we actually care for children's well-being.
My wife and I took just took our 4 year old to Disney on ice. She had her arms wrapped around mine the entire time. In that moment I realized how much I mean to her, it was such a beautiful feeling. I hope every dad gets to experience that.

my dad always gets my mom and i stuff for valentine's day. when i was younger i asked my mom why he did this and she said "so you know how a guy should treat his girl" and yeah, my dad set my standards very high. like almost too high, the man cleans up after he cooks because he "doesn't like to sit around". dad wtf that's not normal please sit down and relax you weirdo. best dad ever haha
