Fusion Shots are when two Slugs, shot simultaneously out of one or two blasters, work together to make a more powerful blend of their powers. First, the two Slugs rotate around each other creating a vortex, Second, the vortex implodes, unleashing a pure blend of both Slug's greatest powers. Fusion Shots can only be used if both slugs aura's are aligned, as it was revealed in episode fourteen of season 2 "The Return" by the Shadow Clan to Eli Shane. In the episode "The Unbeatable Master" the master used a Negashade Slug with a White Boon Doc Slug, making a Fusion Shot, generated a sonic boom.
Also seen in episode, "The Unbeatable Master", Eli uses Joules and Burpy to make a Fusion Shot. This creates a plasma shot against Dr. Blakk, but it destroys Shanai's blaster, as the fusion energy was too much for the device. In episode, "The Return" Eli attempted to use Burpy and Beeker to make a Fusion Shot against Dr. Blakk's train, but it failed, causing all slugs in the blast radius to lose all their energy, with the exception of Dr. Blakk's ghouls. After Eli learned about Slug auras from the Shadow Clan and Mo, he later used Buzzsaw and Torch in order to fire a Fusion Shot against Dr. Blakk and it worked, defeating Dr. Blakk as well as destroying his new high speed Slugterran Express.

Eli decided to aquire the fusion shot because Dr. Blakk had created the gattler, another powerful weapon that shot Slug, (or in Blakk's case, ghouls) rapidly. Eli says it is the only hope to defeat Blakk. Eli planned to counter the gattler with a variety of fusion shots. A special energy source was required to make a blaster that could perform a fusion shot such as a Vitalis Crystal. But in Dark as Night, a Megamorph Aquafreak was much more stronger than a fusion shot, so Eli decided learn to use megamorphs.
In Stuff of Legend, Eli used the Inferno Slam fusion shot with Megamorph Bludgeon and Burpy and also Slug Fu to hit The Pyritor.
In The Lady and the Sword, Eli used the MagmaBlade fusion shot to try to take down the Iron Warrior.
In The Return of the Eastern Champion, Eli uses Charger and Doc to form a fusion shot to cure and revive Master Lian

The best Fusion for me is Glowbyss and Sand Angler because Glowbyss can deal 'electro' damage to the enemy while Sand Angler hits the enemy and deals ANOTHER damage.

I use infurnace and dirt urchin for my fusion, high damage and extra damage, from three shots of the dirt urchin, but I think fire elemental will do better, just letting you know, two "over time" damagers are practically best if you want to do some damage,
