I've long left my gaming days behind me, however the music of MGS is something I rememeber even to this day, and very fondly, I might add. A truly stirring rendition of the best theme song I've heard in a game, it surpasses even the Philharmonic's rendition.

It is much more than a game, it has much more depth than any movie that deals with war, it makes you understand the feeling of war veterans, and why their life is no longer the same after being in the field of battle fighting for people who don't care about you at all.
While I really don’t like MGS2 to this day, I truly respect the game as Kojima was basically creating an entire universe in one sitting. Perhaps the vision was limited by the hardware. I would be down for a MGS2 in current gen.

A lot of time has passed, but I have never seen a game orchestra at this level.
