Complimenti sei un mago della meccanica ed hai scelto una grande Guzzi, chissà quante belle emozioni può ancora dare nel guidarla. Ti mando un saluto speciale dal lago maggiore ciao amico Guzzista.
I did a similar total rebuild of my 1981 Moto Guzzi Le Mans, back in 1992. I eventually had to sell it in 2010 after 26 years ownership. The new owner rebuilt it again, so all is well! This brings back great memories, thanks!
Hace tiempo que te sigo a través de los videos. Admiro tu "saber hacer", talento, minuciosidad y pulcritud. Mi admiración desde Alicante. Tengo el sombrero en la mano.
Yes, it is true, the quality level of the components is very good. Only the electrical switches were not of good quality. Thanks for commenting Dominic. Best regards Loscar 👍✌
Thanks a million for the inspiring videos. Is it possible to watch all the photos seperately. I would like to dwell a little more over the process. At the moment I have a V50 but plan on finding a decent T3/T4 or T3 Cali and renovate it.
That is the authentic method of the old school, so that the paper is spongy making a perfect closure. For convenience, I use Blue Hilomar and Loctite MR 5923. Greetings and thanks for the comment.
Very nice restauration! 🙂 I have a question to you: You use sports air filters and I assume also the Dellorto VHB 30? Which main jet and which idle jets did you use? Thank you very much! Best regards, Timm from Germany
Hello Timm. I enjoy making my bikes and always allow myself some small modifications. In T3 I made a delay in the footrest, new electrical wiring and replaced the bulky air filter. Without a doubt, any variation in the air intake to the carburetor can influence its tuning. T3 only has about 1000 km since I finished it (too many motorcycles). The first thing I did this morning in the garage was remove the spark plugs and fortunately they have the typical perfect combustion color. The carburetors are the originals with no modifications to their jets. Thanks for watching my videos. Loscar from Spain😊
I rode a 1978 850 T3 from New York to Los Angeles decades ago. Great bike. No issues.

Nice work I like it
Why the earlier heads? They look great with spoked wheels, think they went to alloy in ‘79…
How many bikes of that era came with stainless steel mudguards, stainless steel spokes and alloy rims as standard ?

Dear Loscar, Are the (clingerite, paper) gaskets soaked in before installation? Water, oil, fat?
