Mini twist. I thought about doing spring twist but the way amazon is set up, they saying I won't get my hair until late next week and I don't want to wait.
You know what you’ve taught me? I have huge hair like you and have always been told I have “thick hair.” In reality I think the stylists that said I have a lot of hair had it right- I know I have very high density hair, but I probably have fine hair too! I have a hard time getting my twists to stay without unraveling and someone suggested it might be because I may have thin hair.
yes yes i have the exact same type. lots of hair but very fine lol it’s all about finding a product with a good heavy hold and not having to use too much lol
I'm one of those people who said that those are micro twists😂. Get me together. Love this method as well. I might do these since the corona got us going nowhere
ooooo this is how I small I do mine too! If you want "fuller" twists...once you are done mist your hair with water or aloe vera and then add a curl cream (I use shea butter) of choice on the ends...they plump up and look more full :)
@@NeliaBedilia I think its why a lot of people dont like them...either they are thin looking bc of the size the are doing (the bigger they are the thinner they look) and bc they are wetting them AFTER...my hair is really dense but kinda fine...its like cotton candy...and when i twist wet its super stringy too.
I hate putting heat on my hair but i do dig the idea of less shrinkage. And these mini twists came out looking soooo good! I usually wash my hair the night before and put my hair in chunky stretched out twists abd let it air dry and then when I wake up I do my real twists. I've had heat damage a few times in my life and I've been trying to stay away from it
I swear your twist always come out looking nice. Everytime I do mine, I look extra bald whether I blow dry or leave it in its natural state. I have low porosity and very fine hair. I'm going to have to try it again.
i think i should touch more on parting. i’ve learned doing the “window” method of parting allows it to not look to “scalpy” after you do 1 row of twists. have the 2nd row fall into the gaps of the first row. if that makes sense lol 😭 i’ll film something for ya!
Thanks for checking me. I thought that you were rocking micro twists as well. Lol. My hair is also sort of fine. I keep my hair in single plaits but under wigs. My braids do appear to be small as well due my texture. Girl, your hair is so long and pretty. I love the twists. ❤
they look so goood i’m concerned with how long it took tho cs i hate taking breaks and it took me awhile to do the mini twists i did a couple weeks ago that WERENT stretched 😭
this set was pretty small so i spread it out between two days. i will say i think it goes faster because the hair is stretched and easy to part and move through if that makes sense !
With all this extra free time, what hairstyles are you all going to try out ? 👀
