Freeze dried raw is a great start but you should switch him to a fully raw diet. You'll love the benefits

Bear is so well behaved, do you mind me asking how old he is? I have a 5 month old frenchie who is full of energy and though we’re training I can’t yet see if/when she’s going to mellow down enough to be as calm as Bear 🤞
Bear is about a year & a half now. They will mellow down for sure. Bear was super wild at 5 months as well. I'd say he started to calm down a little after a year. I also find that once they get used to a set routine, they know what to expect & that calms them down too. Bear still has his hyper moments, but he's definitely more calm now. I hope that helped. :)
Jazz & Bear thank you so much for the lovely and helpful reply! Sometimes when Miso is go go go it takes a lot to keep my energy levels as high as hers. Where I work from home I’m hoping I can get to the point where she’ll sit near my desk without constant supervision. Bear is definitely frenchie goals!

My routine is very simmlier I go potty I grab poop bags take my dogs on a twenty mintunes then I feed her half a cup of food in the moring and half a cup of food in the after noon she gets half a cup of kibble and two spoonfuls of wet food on top and I will take her on a twenty mintune walk and I clean up any dirty potty pads from my moms Boston terrier and that’s because we have a lot of dangerous wildlife I take my dogs out one more time before the sunsets and my dog usally dosent need to use per pads but I have them down just in case
