  • Qaléh Dokhtar or Qezel Mama is one of the beautiful peaks of Central Alborz. Its height is 3250 meters. This peak is located on the ridge of Tochal Ba Si Chal. A historical castle has been built on top of this peak, which dates back to the Sassanid era and is apparently a Sassanid fire temple. What remains of this huge building today are a few walls and an arch. Other names have been mentioned for this peak, such as Qezal Mama and Qasran. According to the meaning of Qez (daughter) in Turkish, it seems that Qezel Mama is related to Anahita, the goddess of water and childbirth. It is almost square with dimensions of about 10 meters by 11 meters.
Also, in this adventure, we visited the old juniper tree or old cypress or Horst Dar in the local language, which is located in the northeast of Shahristanak village on a mountain called Hurstan and next to the Sir spring. This old tree, which is about 2800 years old, has a trunk circumference of 8 meters and a height of 75 meters, which is known as Pir Todar.
