For me, this was an important record at the time. It was like hang on a minute, there’s something really exciting happening in British music, and it’s not Just Oasis and Blur, but a real movement.
25 years on and this song is still a powerful mind blowing musical sandstorm that will always be timeless. Cast were an amazing band and deserve more respect. Cheers! 🎸✌️
The timbre to die for. A caste / league of their unique own. Have just realized I have still been enjoying them for 30 years. So relevant in 2024. Regards from Ukraine.
Mate how lucky was I... Left school in 89 the 90s were my coming of age years. Raves, parties, shagging about... Then I go to college meet this beautiful girl and on a date on night she passes me a wrapped gift. All Change. I was with her 8 years, top lady, separate lives now , both parents, both had heartbreak But I still love this album, and I fondly remember those 1990s days
OMG! This is heavenly especially the guitar riffs. I love this band. Deserved more recognition. OBE of the best bands of the 1990s, up there with the Verve, Blur and Oasis
I totally forgot about these and omfg they are loads better than I remember how they didn't become just as famous as Oasis is a mystery they're a class act 👏🏻👍🤯
I've got a sandstorm blowin' in my head I'm seein' many colours but the only one that's coming through is red And it's stoppin' me dead tryin' to make some tracks But my feet are feeling like lead Stop being bled, stop being bled Oh my things aren't the same Anyone could see that if I stayed much longer I'd be tamed We stopped playing games I'm not pointing fingers but I'm not taking all the blame Playin' all your games, taking all your blame I said oh no, I don't even care I guess I'll be seein' you I guess I'll be leaving you today We're just not a pair I know you've been trying but I just can't bear to tell a lie' Tellin' me all your lies Tellin' me all your lies Lies Let me take you by the hand Try to understand, You walk me to a land, Try to understand, Are you nothing but a man? I've got a sandstorm blowin' in my head I'm seein' many colours but the only one that's coming through is red You know how we feel, we can't go on pretending And we've just got to fix the deal Gotta make it real Gotta make it real
Saw them first time around in Huddersfield supporting Beautiful South and Lightening Seeds, when they came on stage all sound cut out in 3rd song think it was, was sorted quickly, seeing them tonight in Holmfirth. Cant wait
I'm looking for a song between the mid 90's till 2005, I always thought it was Supergrass but it's not. I only remember the end of the song with the lead signer (a young man) singing haha-haha what-a-ta and then a men choir reapeting haha-haha what-a-ta with a depper voice, thanks a lot
“Don’t even care guess I’ll be seeing you and I’ll be leaving you today. We just aren’t a pair know you’ve been tryin but I just can’t bare to tell a lie” Belter John
na! oasis have a Cast vibe more like. John Power was writing and performing with The La's well before anyone had heard of Noel and Liam Gallagher. It's kinda impossible to sound like Oasis anyway when they themselves sound so much like the Beatles so if anything John Power took inspiration from John, Paul and George (no Ringo cos he couldn't even play the drums let alone write music).
This deserves 12 million views , great debut album and better than any indie band in the shite top 40 today !
Totaly agree going to see them live in Liverpool tonight
John Power just has a beautiful voice, whether it was the la's or cast. I agree he should get more recognition not knocking the others.
You are not wrong. th-cam.com/video/YZd4TgnmRcs/w-d-xo.html
This has to be the most underrated tune in the history of music
Overused comment. Is it a meme? I read it on every video of anything that ever happened.
Unique voice sooooo talented as good as oasis Liam fantastic 🎉❤I wish I had the confidence like v festivals i been tooo 🎉❤❤❤
Its not underated
It’s a great tune but it’s not the most underrated tune in the history ….. nowhere near it
Man I feel old, but I miss the 90s like my parents missed the 60s!
Great era.
If lost mine
That first album was absolute lightning in a bottle.
Top comment on TH-cam.
legendary laa
John power great voice one most underrated bands in Britain. Music fresh as ever..
These guys deserves so much credit than they get,so underrated

So true😊🎉
John Powers has been in two of the most under appreciated bands Britain have ever produced
All Change album was perfect!
If Oasis did this track it would be one of their greatest hits.
Yeh so true
Belter of a song! Loved the album.
Spot on lad that. Belter of a fucking choone this.
Innit
Amen to that. It was a great time for music. But as you say so many good tunes were overshadowed by Oasis and Blur. Long live brit pop.
It sounds like a natural progression from The La's album. Very cool track!
Love Cast, saw them performing in Huddersfield with the Lightning Seeds and The Beautiful South. Amazing gig!
What a line up !
97 I was there cracking line up fantastic day in sunny Huddersfield 👍
Just love this band, and this tune was out when I was 15 and still sounds as top notch today as back in 95
Cast are a very underrated band. "Sandstorm" is an awesome song. Their first album "All Change" is a classic.
The 90’s were fuckin amazing!!!
They were mate, truly class
It was brilliant
cast songs reminds me of good times
I know🥲💕
The timbre to die for. A caste / league of their unique own. Have just realized I have still been enjoying them for 30 years. So relevant in 2024. Regards from Ukraine.
Love cast their songs will always be in my play list ❤️👍
John Power is a brilliant song writer
I’ve never tried much of cast besides all change, but what an album, and this is my favourite off of it
These guys were awesome backing up LG on the Definitely Maybe tour.
If i remember correctly this came out in 95 and that was the best year ever for indie.
Real music!
Mate how lucky was I... Left school in 89 the 90s were my coming of age years.

All Change.

what an album All change was ...as good as anything from the 90s
The powerhouse that is cast 🤟🏻
I totally forgot about these and omfg they are loads better than I remember how they didn't become just as famous as Oasis is a mystery they're a class act 👏🏻👍🤯
90’s music passed me by being an old fart, Cast were one of the stand out bands of that era, great songs, not enough recognition. Just as fresh today.
That's y Cast are just as good as Oasis Brit pop wise! 🎉 😎
What a tune.
Fantastic song !
top band
I rate cast as one of the best indie rock bands of the 90s, they started off as the la,s
cannot wait to see them sing this at the Liam Gig this year! what a support act!!
The only Sandstorm for me. Love from Finland (ironic, huh?)
I think your comment went over peoples heads.
Cultural appropriation, do not bother man is fine.
The La's and Cast. This guy's a legend!
What a song.
I've got a sandstorm blowin' in my head
I'm seein' many colours but the only one that's coming through is red
And it's stoppin' me dead tryin' to make some tracks
But my feet are feeling like lead
Stop being bled, stop being bled
Oh my things aren't the same
Anyone could see that if I stayed much longer
I'd be tamed
We stopped playing games
I'm not pointing fingers but I'm not taking all the blame
Playin' all your games, taking all your blame
I said oh no, I don't even care
I guess I'll be seein' you
I guess I'll be leaving you today
We're just not a pair
I know you've been trying but I just can't bear to tell a lie'
Tellin' me all your lies
Tellin' me all your lies
Lies
Let me take you by the hand
Try to understand,
You walk me to a land,
Try to understand,
Are you nothing but a man?
I've got a sandstorm blowin' in my head
I'm seein' many colours but the only one that's coming through is red
You know how we feel, we can't go on pretending
And we've just got to fix the deal
Gotta make it real
Gotta make it real
Thank you for the lyrics Chris
A lot of comments saying Underrated. Never were in my eyes . Just pure quality ❤

Saw them first time around in Huddersfield supporting Beautiful South and Lightening Seeds, when they came on stage all sound cut out in 3rd song think it was, was sorted quickly, seeing them tonight in Holmfirth. Cant wait

Great!! Very enjoyable song.
Great song heard it on radio 1996
I'm looking for a song between the mid 90's till 2005, I always thought it was Supergrass but it's not. I only remember the end of the song with the lead signer (a young man) singing haha-haha what-a-ta and then a men choir reapeting haha-haha what-a-ta with a depper voice, thanks a lot
Great band.
Steve Bracknall brought me here - Together As One.
Simo Amul

“Don’t even care guess I’ll be seeing you and I’ll be leaving you today. We just aren’t a pair know you’ve been tryin but I just can’t bare to tell a lie” Belter John
Remember seeing this tour in Norwich and they used a crazy red strobe effect during Sandstorm
Cast pissed all over Oasis and Blur in the 90s, and they still do
100% oasis was music for people who didn’t like music and blur was music for children
@@herrfister1477 music for children... Shut up man
Kenny 👍
Noel and Liam always loved Cast. Very recently Liam said very nice things about Mr. Power.
@@herrfister1477 Come on, they are really good, but Blur, musically, was something else... more creative and inovative.
will power proved woth cast there was life after the la's.
Liverpoooooooooooooooooool
buzzin

BEST SONG EVER - end of
Its not really is it?
Summer 97, I'd have me cd player this playing while I'm in the shower
1990s britpop great era times were more mellow
First song i listened to in 2020
And look at the sandstorm 2020 became! Next time listen to money for nothing.
Class
They should re-master this album. The songs are top but the music seems to be hiding in the background. I imagine live they blew you away.
Classic
Going to see cast in leeds along with shed 7 in leeds 😄😄😆😆😆
kyle dooley I was there lad. RIGHT NIGHT. Both bands smashed it. Was like being on an episode of T.F.I Friday in 1996!
I was there, what an amazing night.
What in Leeds yeah??
Deady
Seen them in Livingston....cant remember what year though...
This song got some oasis vibe to it

Ry Boy agree John Powers quality. Give Ringo a break tho mate, he was a class drummer and definitely a worthy member of the Beatles
u don't say !?
Ry Boy . This obviously ripped off Wonderwall which is three month older than this.
kuladeep m said someone who wasn't in Britain in the 90's, so wrong
Am I the only one who feels that this song is very similar to Filmstar from suede?
The most underatted brit band ever , better than oasis and blur , in my guesstimate.
And back now 2024
Delicia para mis oídos
Carajo
Cast look cool in addidas trainers so did oasis this made retro clothes cool again lacoste addidas still popular now
Top la
This pisses on britpop so underated
Looks like Liverpool / Hamburg that ??.
Listen now
The new 60ts
Fucking love the 90's
