Italian culture is very different from ours. സാധാരണഗതിയിൽ അടുത്ത് പരിചയമുള്ളവരെ പേരാണ് വിളിക്കുന്നത് അതായത് കുറച്ച് പ്രായമുള്ളവരായാലും അങ്ങനെയെ വിളിക്കൂ. എന്നാൽ പരിചയമില്ലായെങ്കിൽ signor ..... that means Mr or signora Mrs എന്ന് പറയും. ചിലപ്പോൾ Signor Mario o Marco ഇങ്ങനെ പേരും കൂട്ടിച്ചേർത്ത് വിളിക്കും.
