Looked like an awesome day of riding bud! - - - Dropping your psi down to 5 probably made a difference on those rocks eh? A buddy of mine drops his down to 3.5 when he's rock crawling, which seems a little low to me. I go down to 4.5, but it all depends on the tires. - - - 13:20 - lol @ the mailbox geocache. Cool idea. - - - 18:02 - HOLY CRAP, you hit that thing pretty good - lol - good thing it was a small flexible tree. How were your shoulders & wrists the next day? - - - Thanx for the tour!
Hi Q. I found out later there's a pretty good story behind the geocache mailbox. Ran yesterday with the 5 p.s.i again. That might be the sweet spot with those tires. 18:02 That was nothing. Just a love tap...lol Shoulders and wrists were just fine.. Appreciate the comment.
So the original sadly got broken and I replaced it with a new mailbox in memory of my grandfather. Every time he took me out on the bike we always had root beer and canned Vienna sausages. It’s funny because at work we were just talking about him and how much he’s missed. His name was Roger Mailman.
@@TODDATVOffRoad . . . That's an awesome story buddy! I was a little off with my guess, but not too far off. Didn't expect it to be you who put it there. In the video, you made it sound like you stumbled across it. PS: I hate losing people I'm close to, but that's life; even though it sucks sometimes.
Hi Josh oh wow.. I couldn’t tell you when the last time that I was in Pictou Co.. it’s been a very long time. Next time I visit. I’ll have to take the atv. Appreciate the comment.
Hi tmisner These trails are at the end of Myra Rd. You have 3 options. Left side.. Middle.. Right side.. This time I went up the right side. I believe the mailbox is on the 523 trail with the Polaris app.. Appreciate the comment..
Would you say the xmr is a trailable bike? I have a 2023 xtp max thinking of trading for a 2025 xtp or xmr. How reliable has your other xt been? I had the 2023 blow a belt at 200 miles. They say the new one is more reliable, what are your thoughts. Would you mod an xt or xtp for trail mud sine it may be smoother or is the xmr a good all around ??
Hi jzenone.. After doing 3 rides with the XMR . I have to say it's doing pretty good so far as a trail rider. Those Myra trails are not the smoothest trails to ride but the XMR is handling them like a champ. The XT hasn't cost me a whole lot of money in repairs for the four years I've owned it. Considering how we ride. I always say it all all depends on how you ride and where you ride. That's why I've gone with the XMR because I feel it might be a better ATV for where I ride. I don't want to turn around somewhere on a trail because I can't get thru because of water or mud. Plus the 30' tires are a bonus when it comes to trail riding. Hope this helps.. Appreciate the comment.
Hi NSHunter.. Wasn't that bad. It's not the first nor probably not the last tree I'll ever hit.. lol I looked over the atv pretty good and I didn't see any damage. Glad it had a front bumper. Appreciate the comment.
Great video and trails! 👌
Hi Cujo.. Thanks and the trails are not to bad.. lol
Appreciate the comment.
I’m glad it was only a light tap, could’ve been a lot worse. Still sucks that it happened though. Hopefully everything is fine on the bike

@@TODDATVOffRoad . . . Let me guess . . . The geocache is a memorial to someone who was a mailman and a geocacher, but recently passed away.

Dead end trails should be banned. 😆
Hi OneRide. I don’t mind dead ends. Never know what you’ll find.. Lakes. Cabins. Moonshine stills.. lol
