Thank you for this informative video about the Jean Patou's fragarances. I used Sublime for a more than a decade. I loved it. Can you recommend a perfume that smells similiar to Sublime, and it's still being produced? Thanks for your time.
Dior wanted the name for one of their perfumes so they bought the house of Patou and discontinued the iconic perfume for that reason. Stupid but they had the money!
It's pronounced Jean Patoo . You're so good already at pronouncing French but since you're making videos, why not look up pronunciation of particular words and vowel combinations? I really appreciate your effort to pronounce correct French and I have been mortified by most reviewers' butcherings, so you're doing great. I made 1 fragrance video with a French lesson at the end- it's called Advanced Oud by Fragophile Files. I haven't made any more yet because, well I have been focusing on my Substack but I do give a basic vowel lesson and the nasal combinations: such as words with "an", "en", "in", "on" and "un". "An" and "en" are the same but the rest are distinct from one another. Most Americans pronounce "Indémodables" as though it were "andémodables" but that is incorrect- at least in France, not talking about Canada. There is an awesome French dude you will find toute suite if you look up French pronunciation on YT- just check him out a bit. I hope I didn't make you mad. Sillage is seeyaj.
Thanks!
You're very welcome!

Hi, please can you tell me where you got the tester size bottles? Thank you so much
Wtf they discontinued Joy? Love the way it smells on women. Why?

Jean Patou was bought out by Dior for the specific reason they wanted to name one of their perfumes joy. It was a pure sin!
