Bowman had dropped the window net and had lifted his visor and was wiping his eyes when this happened. When Bowman's car was hit in the door, he was sent into the wall on the driver's side and the right side wheels came off the ground. More than just a llitle tap.

Just imagine if Bowman had had his arm or hand out the window when he got slammed into the wall. He apologized and said he was fooling with his windshield wiper and didn't hit Bubba in purpose. Bubba always thinks somebody's out to wreck him on purpose. He needs to get over himself and he needs fined.

Bubba was one of 20 people hit but the only one who had to do something after the race. It wasn’t horrible but he’s got to control his anger. It was a crazy race. Got to have a little self control. Needs to be points tho, $25k isn’t much for a repeat offender.
23XI doesnt need to put up with the nonsense by "Thugga". Reddick is a great race car driver and outshines Wallace at every turn Sadly, Wallace exhibits the "bully" attitudes we have all seen by Jordan and Hamlin, albeit they are accomplished and high talent. In contrast, Wallace is a no-talent punk.

totally agree with you about Hamlin, it's funny because when he wrecks people he always says he doesn't wreck someone on purpose. Him and Bubba can wreck people but hate it when they get wrecked and take it out by pouring water or doing what another person said Hamlin going head to head with Bowman one time when Bowman won a race.
Got to part ways here with you Kenny. Even if it was just a window net down Bubba should be fined, docked points and given a 1 race suspension because that makes a serious safety issue doing what he did.
A example must be set that when safety equipment is dropped/unbuckled after a race retalitory contact like this hit are unacceptable.
Seems like Bubba has controversy every week. He needs some time out for a few races.

Been a NASCAR fan for 65 years……Wallace has better than average talent but (my opinion) he is a total head case….. too much going on inside his brain…(RACE, MJordan, living up to expectations…on and on…I think he would be much better if he was not associated with the Jordan Brand…. Just too much to juggle. He’s actually a pretty cool dude but he needs to get out of his own way….

I think this was similar to Carl Edwards hitting the door of Dale Jr under caution when Jr had his hand outside of the car. Bowman had his window net down and thankfully didn’t have his arm out, could have been a lot worse.

It was me that commented most drivers on loosen their seatbelt after the checkered flag that's why it should be no contact and I only mentioned it for the safety purposes no matter who was intentionally hitting who safety has to be priority
The greatest day in NASCAR will be when Classless bully Bubba is no longer a part of NASCAR. I’m a former fan of Bubba’s. I tried to be his fan but his lack of character makes it impossible. Surely the only reason most people that work with him & around keep showing up for work is they’ve got to work to live which is understandable.
P.S. Bubba looks for opportunities to do stuff like this. By now he has to know it’s get him in front of the camera & NASCAR is going to do little more than give him a slap on the hand. DH & MJ are going to have to be the ones to get his attention which will probably not happen either.

The reason his chances are dwindling is not from mishaps like Chicago. It’s because he sucks as a driver! He’s lucky to be with 23XI and should take lessons from his teammate Tyler. 23XI should take advantage of the talent pool available and replace his self entitled ass. There’s a lot better drivers looking for a ride next year, then we’ll see where he ends up.

I'm not sure about that. Bubba is NASCAR's shinny penny. Bubba's owner has done similar and not fined or penalized. Bubba will not get much, if anything at all. Bowman was contrite and honest, owned it. Bubba (and several other drivers) could learn from that.

Bubba has a running history with little incidents. Wouldn't be surprised if NASCAR hits him with a little more than a small fine. Accumulation penalty if you will. Then again, drama brings in viewership so he might get put in a 10 min time out or something like that...

It doesn’t matter who you are or what happened to you during the race. You NEVER intentionally cause contact after you have crossed the checkered flag. Drivers should be banned for this including the stunt Daniel Suàrez pulled at COTA post race pit lane. People can get hurt when the track is no longer hot and there are nascar officials and crew members walking on pit road.
If anyone purposely caused damage at a lower racing class event such as a simple HPDE track day, you would be banned for life.

NASCAR needs to look at Bubba holistically and not look at this incident as it happened. Bubby has anger issues and he acts out on multiple times. Think 160mph hooking Larson into the fence, backyard bully stuff, and on and on. You think his team would deal with it and I”m surprised that Jordan wants his brand associated with it. Who will or when will someone get hurt when Bubba loses his Sh$t next time and there will be a next time. They parked him for a race with Larson, maybe they need to park him for the rest of the season and help him deal with whatever his issues are. If he wasn’t in NASCAR anymore, no one would remember him two years from now and some other driver will be in the seat and the same fans will be cheering them on. Getting to NASCAR is hard as it should be and we should see excellence and he’s far from that. If he gets help and comes back and make changes, he will earn respect from the drivers, and win fans. Race community is very forgiving but let’s see accountability, acceptance, and change from Bubba. If he does that, I’ll be a fan. Look at the professionalism from SVG. Maybe Bubba can learn from that. Note to Bubba, there is someone very willing to take your seat and not do what he does.

Instead of doing something to Bubba, Nascar will probably do a stupid rule change saying window nets can't be down until parked or something completely redundant. He'll get away with a slap on the wrist at best.
I don't care if he's fined or not. I don't like Bubba as of now because he can't control his emotions. This is an ongoing thing with him and has been throughout his entire career. There is no garage leader to pull him aside and say enough of this shit. The days of Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Stewart, Gordon and Johnson is over. Until a driver steps up and take the lead in the garage, we are going to see this from drivers.

Absolutely not. Maybe the fine. I don’t even agree with that. The race was over. When Carson dumped Harrison last week it was mid race. Any damage received to Burton’s car effectively could have changed the outcome of the race. Also, you take harder hits in bumper cars at your local county fair. If William Byron or Christopher Bell did this to one another nobody would say boo.

For those who have issues with Bubba Wallace, I can understand. Keep this in mind, and I know you won’t, go back through multiple races this season where he was as a victim of others who lost control of their cars and cost him valuable points in the series. Which is where he is now. And don’t use SVG as an example of how you handle a DNF, caused by another driver, because it has only happened to him once. Bubba still drove his way back to a top 15 finish after being back in 30 something. And yes NASCAR should fine him.
As usual, it’s someone else’s fault…..I’m still waiting for Bubba to "hip-check" Austin Hill. ….oh that day will come. That "conversation" won’t be pretty.
