I.Just.Came. I've listened to this song so many times... A friend of me send me the song "Beneath the howling stars" on tape once (which was usual at that time being... (I lost contact to her but I hold that tape very close to my heart)), and I can now growl, scream, shout, pigsqueal that song till today while sleeping. It was my second black metal-song I've ever encountered (after "Agathodaimon - tristetea vehementa"). And it will never let me go. I am really happy, that CoF remastered THE album and I can now listen to it in all of it's glory now... *headbanging till the neck brakes....*

No solo que Dani escribe bien, sino que Cradle no hace lo que muchas bandas hacen, que es repetir lo mismo en toda una canción, siempre repiten los mismos coros, versos y demás...en cambio Dani le mete letra diversa a las canciones, eso, para mi, tiene mucho más sentido y por supuesto acompañado de una obra maestra musical que encaja a la perfección.

I agree, at first glance, his songs dont actually tell full stories, they are more of a description of what the events, if you know what i mean, in other words, he tells his stories by describing emotions, feelings, setting, etc. However, if you look deep enough, there are deep and clear stories in each song; take Damnation and a Day for example, each song tells a completely different stories which all make sense by themselves, but which together form an even larger story. So in my opinion, he is a great writer who actually knows his language and is able to put it to use in an almost perfect way... CoF will always be my favourite band \m/
