I remember as a kid wandering from Crewe Station with my Ian Allen Locoshed directory searching for CE and CD along with the works. Can't recall ever being able to see anything from public areas! I do remember getting lost searching for Longsight though. Happy days before Google Maps was a pipedream.
As they seem so reluctant to scrap any of the 86/6s or the 90s you could go back in about 20 years time and all those Class 92s will probably still be there!
Forgot to add, several of the locos shown are in my model collection. Malcolm 90, compliments of Rainbow Railways and to be added soon Stobart 92, from Accurascale/Kernow.
Glad to see the Stobart 92 is still around.
Yes mate. Shame it's not working

I remember those days well too. Crewe electric was easy to get round, but Crewe Diesel wasn't at all. Happy days . Thanks for watching 👀
Great to see the drone footage of the depot, which I have never been round, even back in eighties when some depots held open days.
Was a difficult depot to get around back then. Although I did manage to bunk it a few times 😁

Haha yes more than likely the 92s will be still there. Such as shame as good powerful locos I thought . Thanks for watching 👀
Sad seeing so many 92s and 90s going to waste, such powerful locos
It certainly is a waste. Thanks for watching 👀
@@miniature-airlines no problem, I enjoy seeing depots and how they’ve changed since I last saw them
Couldn't agree more 👍

Awesome. They're nice liveries.
Trying to spot the 92 Barthol Brecht in there as I just bought the Accurascale model. Bit sad seeing them all like that though.
Very sad yes. I'm not sure which 92 that is?
why the blurring in and out?,seems odd.
It's a dissolve from one scene to another
Great footage of Crewe IEMD, was this taken today ? (I gather Backbone 90039 may have failed at Eden Valley on 4Z25 yesterday)
Thanks. No, it was taken on boxing day mate. Thanks for watching 👀
Crewe is good
Oh yeah
What a waste
A huge waste. I don't get how they keep buying more diesel locos when there's so much stored stuff rotting away
