Overall Vini Jr was more decisive in the Champions league and Bellingham was slightly more decisive in La Liga. Vini missed a lot of games in La Liga because of injuries too.

In the first few month when Real Madrid was struggling and winning like 1-0 and 2-1, bellingham was clearly the deciding factor. There was a reason there were best player shouts in the beginning.

Bellingham covered very very well when Vini was out. Now when Vinicius is back and in form, Jude's defensive work should not go unnoticed. He hasn't faded at all.

Jude Bellingham deserves La Liga best player this season for coming to the rescue at the beginning of the season when the team wasn't 100 percent. Vinicius Jr however deserves the Ballon D'Or for being nothing short of outstanding throughout the entire season.
Toni Kroos deserves to be in the shortlist. We're back to a time when midfielders are overlooked. Kroos has been the engine of Real Madrid in all competitions from start to finish. He should as well be a contender for the Ballon D'Or. Totally underrated.
Lamine Yamal has been more influential in the Barcelona side, by all means their best player this season. He should be there ahead of Lewandowski.
