Plus at the very end the gtr magically accelerates quicker than the lambo, even though the Lamborghini was clearly quicker the rest of the race.
Jimmy Miotke Wow this thread is really harsh. I noticed that too but as other comment points out, there are a lot of light on the dash of the Murcielago, maybe it is overheating, also in the footage he seems to be pushing full throttle. Just my opinion guys, I don’t want to fight with anybody please.

In 2008 yeah it was fast on this track and Nissan did great. But now the gtr won't come close
They purposely do that. How is it possible a 560hp car which weighs like 3800 lbs can accelerate as faster than a 640hp car which weighs 3600 lbs. Doesnt make sense. Clearly staged.

@@sunilayya8948 The Lambo is also AWD. You also have to wonder about the differences in tires on these comparisons - on a track, street tires can go 'off' after a few laps.

The 911 to race the group should have been the Turbo S with PDK, not a manual Turbo! All of the other cars are dual clutch or sequential automatics.
Has anyone noticed that there were only two instances where the Murcielago was shown revving past 7k? And even exiting the final corner as the GT-R came to "overtake" it, Hattori still deliberately upshifted at 7k.
Also the Murcielago's brakes fading down the back straight in the second lap but working just fine on the next and final lap which is barely believable. Also, ehy aren't the air cooling ducts open?
The Exige losing out to corner speed and braking ability is a mystery to me, as physics would suggest otherwise.
Lastly, DK Tsuchiya seemed to be deliberately missing shifts and hitting the limiter on his Gallardo. Weird for a world-class driver considering all his other videos barely show him on a misshift.

Best Motoring, the only publication that tests cars with serious racing drivers on a track. Once you get used to their contents, most other reviews, impressions, tests, etc from the US or UK read like BS. That only seems logical because the usual auto journalist simply doesn't have the ability to explore the limit of these performance machines. Long live Best Motoring, I wish you all the best.

That's a neat shift the guy obviously and deliberately did 1.5K RPM from redline there at the end 14:24. Not to mention the whole easing off the throttle thing. I know they have a story to sell but this is insulting to put it gracefully, next time come up with a better excuse, the good ole "shifuto-missu" for example.

Overheating brah the lamborghini, the driver mean to win it but yeah the car slow down for a reason.
Brian Jong I can see the water temp it's fine... maybe oil temp & break fade but no reason to shift 1000rpm early.
I love Best Motoring, but this episode is so biased. The GTR was so light that they forgot to put fuel. The driver of the Murcielago was short shifting on the third lap and did some "mistakes" for the GTR catch up. In the final lap they faked that check engine.
Also is a 911 always faster on a track than a gtr

部品一つ一つの単価からまるで違うのに、車両価格を無視して勝った負けたとか下らなさ過ぎる…リベンジもクソもないでしょ。
例えるなら、3万円のNintendo Switchと5万5千円のPS5を比べるようなもの。
むしろR35GT-Rのコスパが如何に素晴らしいかが証明されてる。

Interesting to think about the differences in OEM spec tires on each car. Also too bad they weren't able to get a 997.2 GT3 RS, or even a 997.1 version. My experience on track days tells me that the GTR weight penalty would be quite telling.
But videos such as this one no doubt solidified the GTR's reputation for hanging with the best performance cars of the day!

近年の日本車はノーマルでは比較的遅いかもしれないけど値段を考えるとコスパがよく速いと感じるな
まあ、値段と信頼性を考えたら、gtrが圧倒的だけど、ｽﾃｰﾀｽｼﾝﾎﾞﾙで一般人が買うからさ、同じｶﾃｺﾞﾘｰに入らないんだよね。

MY17の実力はホットバージョンにて。
今のGT-Rは快適性重視なので、サーキットでは遅いです。
だいたい日産広報車をサーキットで全開で走らせるのが禁止されていることからも、だいたい実力は想像つくでしょう。

See Fss ピュアはステンレスマフラー、ブラックはチタンマフラー、オプションでドライカーボンスポイラーも付けれてトランクリッドもドライカーボンに出来る
そうなれば10キロ近く軽量化できる
そしたらコーナーでのスピードもあがるしリニアに動く
足は一緒だがカーボンやチタン素材バケットシートが変わることにより重量が変わるから全然変わってくる
