in 2006 I can't decide between M3 CSL and EVO MR. I bought the EVO MR and still own it. My best friend later bought the M3. Nowadays every Hothatch Hybrid has more Horses but when it really comes to racing, these 2 dominates and performs like kings. One of the best Car ERAs

A Renault Clio V6 on Best Motoring ! What a sight to behold ! Vive la France les gars !
Clio V6 not the fastest or best car here by far, but it's definitely the coolest and the one I'd be most excited to try driving. Those Renault Sport boys were/are crazy in the best ways. 2004 was a great moment in automotive history.
I saw it too, also the Elise driver had so many apexes he could've taken advantage of, those race drivers are clowns, the elise could've placed 2nd at best @@ThaDutchDK1989

It's also the most expensive car on the grid tho. Would have been nice to see the Evo go against the M3 since it actually clocked a better lap time looking at the time attack sheet.
What a clowns some drivers are.. the guy in the lotus had like 6 apexes in 1 corner, guy in the 350z like 3 apexes in 1 corner. The guy in the clio v6 didn’t use any racing lines in the first 2 laps. Turning the wheel isn't apexing, you don't know what you're talking about. During a race you often don't use the racing line (you are racing not lapping) Look at the weather and the spectators are in jackets, its not a hot day so the track surface will be cold, plus tyres won't get up to temperature for at least 3 laps. They are street tyres which require a lot more slip angle than slicks which is why the drivers are jerking the wheel mid corner, they are trying to find the best slip angle. The Evo is AWD, so it requires a smoother driving application, if the Evo driver drove it like the other 2WD cars all he would get is catastrophic understeer, so he has to use a more reserved driving style and use the cars extra traction to punch early out of the corners then he can rely on the car extra power to pass on the straights. The lotus's light weight mean's despite its narrow tyres the driver is struggling to get tyre temperature on a cold day. (Ariel Atoms suffer from the same problem) These professional racing drivers are jumping into unfamiliar cars and are dealing with a lot of variables that you wouldn't understand with your clear lack of knowledge on the subject
That CSL was really something special. The only M3 at the time that was radical enough to hold a candle to the mighty Porsche GT3.
