I've never tried the original NG Clay.. however with this new reform, I can say that I agree with you 100%. I have thick straight hair and it's more like a medium hold for me and it does get a little greasy on my hair.. not matte at all. Still a good product but it shouldn't be labeled as a clay.. nice review 👍
It sucks that they got rid of their firm hold moon paste and their cream. Cream is a great leave in conditioner and styling product in one. If they make their moon paste firm again but reformulated and even softer I think that'd be great. They use an ingredient called cupuaco butter and it's awesome.

dude, this is the most accurate review I've seen for the reform. a lot was sacrificed and it just didn't work.
Couldn't agree more about the trend mentality that all products must be easily scoopable. The end result is what it's all about.

Totally agree with you that performance shouldn't be sacrificed for a better scoopability. NG clay used to be one of favs.

agreed, should have stuck to the same formula. Now the hold is literally cut by half
Same with crystal lake. Not its generic like old spice.
I hate the new Crystal Lake. Lol they're Gray Ghost is now their flagship product and to me the only one worth getting.
